we don't see any actual reaction from Inaho.

He missed the eggs on sale.

Spoiler:
Regardless of the unemotional state or rather the difficult to discern emotional state of Inaho, you are correct that having him do something wouldn't have been a bad idea. I was supporting the fact that he fired second was all, not defending the fact that the scene was done competently.

I feel like watching Inaho's face now because after browsing for images of his face, Yuki is right there are very small signs from his eyebrows and mouth of his emotional state

I had to share it because it's goddamn hilarious

This is why Slaine did what he did in episode 12.

And for those who haven't noticed the trend yet...

>Fate/Zero
>Aldnoah.Zero
>F/Z
>A/Z
>A/Z is supposed to be the Fate of mecha

If the logic continues to follow, season two should be the best anime next season.

Urobuchi left the show after episode 3...

It was before that I think, if we are talking about the story
Urobuchi wrote...
I did not create the characters in Aldnoah. I made the mainframe of the story until the preliminary version. But in fact Inaho’s character is different than what I wrote. I don’t really have a connection with this character, so this is an exception.

Gen says he wrote the first three episode but then is going to pass the baton to another guy (llook him up) for the rest. He saw some of it and it looks really good.

It's reported that Gen made a tweet about washing his hands after doing his part, so it's possible he was dissatisfied with the anime.

People are saying that Urobuchi did the writing for Aldnoah Zero which was likely altered after he left, but around episode three he stopped scripting and left it to the guy who did Boku no Pico(Takayama, Katsuhiko,....eww) which might explain the fairly bad scenes. At the same time people are saying he's responsible for the last two episodes but that's contradictory to the interview so I'm skeptical about that statement. So this is probably a good lesson for me and a few others to not trust big-names in a series. I'm just laying out facts, personally I am going to let this stew a bit until the gossip mill and Slain'd-craziness dies down to decide what is going on with Aldnoah Zero's cast.

I'll probably still hang around for season 2.

Urobuchi Speaks about the final episode

Basically he's saying that's not his work. All the characters and plot progression went totally different from Urobuchi's plan.

Spoiler:
Characters yes. Inaho wasn't even part of Urobuchi's plan. Plot-wise they COULD do something reallllllly dumb to follow Urobuchi's plan like say they are all still perfectly fine by the next season and say "Slaine kidnaps princess leaving Inaho blue-balled" which I was pretty attested to in the first place since it sounds like the focus of the second season would be Inaho crying over his waifu and Slaine taking Asseylum to another castle, when the focus should be the cost of justice.

I've watched this Anime just for the character development and the Mechs. but sadly because the George R.R. Martin of Anime is involved in the creation, i took a mental trauma after watching the 1st season.

I thought this was pretty commendable, especially the part where he said it's wrong when people ignore an anime's flaws to make it good.

Well, that doesn't change things really. It was good enough that I want to watch its sequel, so that is that.

Yeah the review didn't really introduce anything brandnew to me and I'm still going to stick around for S2 but I thought it was worth sharing.

Space pirate Inaho is stronker than ever and after Ass-eylum's booty.
Slaine still didn't explain his 360noscopes from S1.
Somehow this asteroid base survived the Orbital knights invasion.
I should have seen that asteroid belt from the ground whenever there was a sky screencap in AZ S1.
Why are these people alive.

What a glorious start.

Remember kids, emotionless pointlessly overpowered MC will never die as long as there's money to be made.

I'm becoming convinced that everyone in the setting secretly just wants to die and are waiting for MC to finish their miserable lives. A lot of fights can be described as people standing still, watching silently, knowing they can do nothing to stop the end of their pathetic existences.

... And they went with the worst possible route. Both MCs who was shown to have died - like one was shot point blank in the head! - did not.

I mean, what's the point then? This is going in the complete opposite direction from Episode 1, where his friend just got vaporized like that in an instant.

These niggas need a piece of their lord and saviour Meijin Jesus, and his prophet, the great Demo-senpai.

A/Z was actually bearable until Inashit showed up. Then I just wanted to drop it, so badly.

I know the video was right there, and I've strayed from no path. It's my favourite video from the man. I just felt like putting in the placeholder anyway.

And Meijin Jesus is from Gundam Build Fighters, specifically the second season. He makes an entrance worthy of making him the true Lord and Saviour of mecha.
