Ao Haru Ride revolves around Futaba, a girl who was in love with a boy named KÅ Tanaka in middle school. However, after a misunderstanding, their relationship as friends ends when he transfers schools over summer vacation. In high school, her world is turned around once again when she meets KÅ again, this time under the name of KÅ Mabuchi.It's been a while since my last good shoujo anime series and my heart is going doki doki like the nerd obsessed woman I am. I absolutely loving the concept of this, the characters, the voice acting, the artwork, everything. I can't wait to see how the story develops and to see these two lovebirds in action.... if they don't end up together I may cry a little ;-;

Liking this. Not my favorite shoujo this season. Gekkan Shoujo is winning for me right now xD But I enjoy the characters and the story. I like that the main character is growing. I have hope for this anime. ^_^

I am currently getting a Bokura ga Ita feel of this anime, but then, it has been so long since I have watched a Shoujo one. Maybe its the art? I'm not so sure, but it vaguely reminds me of it.

Well so far I am on EP10 and Futaba needs to get smacked in the EP getting her nose in others business.
It's a cte anime and I like how the romance flows it's not going to fast/slow and I love the art.

I'm crying so much. Why do they always take all my favourite shoujo manga, animate it and giving it only 12 episodes.. I hope for a season two but tbh I doubt it /sobs/ (but it is okay I don't like this character who is going to appear later and mess things up)
I'm a die hard sakisaka Io fan (author of the manga) so I have been following it since before it was even serialized. When I heard it got an anime I seriously cried of happiness. I love Kou so much. I don't know why but this douchebag just gives me fuzzy feelings! but then again I see myself in Futaba a lot and I consider her one of my spirit animals. I think Kaji yuki is doing a good job as Kou. Tbh I was a bit worried since he has his periods where he is good and times where he just .. makes me cry over his voice is ruining an episode. (he is cool as eren and alibaba! he kinda ruins brocon)
I love Kou's brother a lot too! and KENN is voicing in it! *^*
I'm surprised about the art, was quite scared it would get ruined since Sakisaka-sensei use watercolour when she draws and watercolour to anime doesn't always work that well (Mushishi is good though)
I like the opening more than the ending but I guess that is mainly because I have been following honeyworks for some time~~ I love their music~

I've been debating whether to watch this or read the manga first. Suggestions?Generally it is better to read the manga before watching the anime. At least that's what I think. ;-;
