Nobody made a thread for one of the best anime of the season yet? Fakku's anime section really does seem dead. Anyways, first two episodes are out and they were very good.

I was wondering when someone was gonna make a thread about this anime, good on you Ammy. This is a dark horse for me. I've heard nothing about it besides a few people mentioning it in my skype group. I gave it a try and it's funny, heartwarming, and adorable. Fun Fact: Naru is voiced by an actual little girl.

The OP singers voice reminds me of either the OP or ED of Magi kingdom of magic though.

well,i'm glad i decided to watch this series after Kawaisou last month.
the character has fast paced change of expressions,reminds me of the adolescence of living in small town/village and dat Hina.......so adorable.lol

i've noticed that some of the scene works were done by Production I.G. so there's no doubt that the series is in good hands.
and the pastel works kinda reminds me of Usagi Drops because of it.lol

A potential crime in the works?

OT: Really liking this anime, especially the mains character... He's reminding me of someone on the tip of my mind, but I can't seem to remember. I love him!

Maybe I'm thinking of Arakawa Under the Bridge.

The first episode alone was really heart-warming. I feel like a conclusion to the protag's issues could come in episode 2 and it would be satisfying. Will keep watching.

I thought Naru was a boy until this episode. Never noticed the use of "her" in the subs either.

Isn't Naru a girl's name though?

I don't know. Its written as "なる" in manga. My only counter-example is that "Nagisa" is both male (Free!) and female (CLANNAD), while the name initially sounded female to me.

Free doesn't count. I'm pretty sure the guys are purposely given girls' names.

Naru handling that sea-cucumber gave me a hard-on. I am not ashamed to admit that.

I like how the sea cucumber organs were censored(if you can handle a sea cucumber you are an adult...lewd)and the fan-service potential was slapped down with good comedy.
