For the first time since the first Queerat arc I have actually wondered what will happen next, not sure who the fiend is but this was a good episode.

How about both ? Nothing said there was only one fiend, it's just that we've only seen one. But I'm pretty sure it's one of those two. Yakomaru is pretty cunning... But I do like your hypothesis.
On the other hand, excuse me if I'm wrong but we don't know how much of their skeletons were presented to the human council so these two really might be dead and it's Shun, though I doubt it.

Because it's been mentioned a few times already (first time being in the first episode) that "A lot more people would have lived if Maria hadn't been born!" Considering the preview made it look like the entire area had been completely leveled, it certainly seems like it's Maria.

More derp face. Seriously, A-1? Dont even start a new anime and redirect your budget there.

Things are finally starting to get interesting, it only took 19 episodes, the trick they did with the mirror was pretty clever too.

I have to say I hated this when it first started but this is starting to get really good, the fact that Maria and Mamoru's child became a fiend during the timeskip and the whole time Yakomaru has been plotting to rebel against the humans, I cant wait to see whats going to happen next.

Well shit, I figured it would Maria's and Mamoru's kid, but I didn't expect Yakomaru to take his plan that far! The worst part is, I can't hate on the guy, his plan is a pretty damn good one for what he's trying to accomplish, even if he is using the using little kids as tools -__-

I knew it, Squeler was a piece of shit. I suspect him right from the first time they met it.

Everything would be better of they killed that querat.

so finally the identity of the fiend has been revealed, although i thought it would have been maria who turned into a fiend.

One thing that bugs me however is the fact how the queerats controll the fiends, i mean those children can just wipe out an entire army of queerats, so they must either use drugs on them or even go as far as to control with the same method squeller controlled the queens. Even thinking about that send a chill down my spine.

I also second the idea to having squeeler killed, this son of a bitch is like the hitler of queerats.

But the story is pretty damn sick anyway I have to say, when this anime started, I would have never thought it would be this amazing. Really the best anime this season and I even dare to say it is a masterpiece imho.

Yakomaru's plan is brilliant and thus far is working well. Looking forward to the rest of the series now.



The children only know that if they were told they can by someone. To them killing a queerat is like killing family, while killing humans is no worse than hunting.



At the start of the series we saw a series of flashbacks to when regular humans fought against psychics. At the time I'm certain regular humans were treated poorly and compared psychic leaders to Hitler. Its not too different now, the queerats were subjected to poor treatment from psychic humans, they developed the tools required for a successful rebellion, and are going forward with doing so. Psychic humans may see it as comparable to Hitler because its not in their favor. If the queerats are successful a new world will be made. It will continue that way until the "fiends" become aware of their superiority, but the queerats will make sure to not allow that, much like the psychic humans did with the queerats.

Man... things are just dumb now. The whole "Maria never should of been born" was just a crappy red herring. Now, Squealer is thinking about building a psychic army. BECAUSE IT JUST INVOLVES CONTROLLING A BUNCH OF MENTALLY UNSTABLE KIDS WITH PSYCHIC ABILITIES, WHAT CAN GO WRONG!? Even more fun is how easily Shisei was killed. Not only did he not think to just fly everyone away since the fiend obviously can't fly, but he gets killed by Cantus leakage. And how does a fiend control Cantus leakage anyway? And why does this fiend follow orders when the others we have been shown were, at best, complete sociopaths?

Oh yeah, I remembered something. You know the part where they're talking about Cantus leakage? It had a flashback in it. And it showed Shun's face! And Saki didn't remember his face last episode. Terrific quality control there.

And turns out even Shisei died.

Shisei, dude, seriously. What the vuck is up with the new get up!? It's ugly as sin. Maybe if u use your previous garment you wouldnt die.

...But how exactly did he die? I dont really get the explanation about subconscious Cantus leakage. Also quoite confused with what the Niimi guy did.


I knew it. Mamoru and Maria's kid. Plus maybe Yakomaru did Mamoru and Maria himself. Despicable bastrad.

But what exactly is a fiend? Simply a Cantus user went wrong in the head and go berserk? I dont knoow how currently Yakomaru control's Mamo-Ria kid, much less an entire army of Fiend. I mean, they're a bunch of psycho in the first place. Did he even not think that the Fiend might burst up and kill them too?

Hmmm yea, it's pretty awesome, but one thing is bothering me. Yea, maybe they feel like the queerats are their family, but ALL of them ? They might be retarded but not that much. And if they really are retarded, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be so easily controllable. I would expect them to go berserk... I mean, if IRL, there are some people who just go and kill because they realize they can, I can bet you that with these kind of power, they would need to kill just one of the queerats, even if accidentally to break free of any infiority they feel against them. The psychic humans were psychic, if they existed IRL we would worship them( if not try to kill them all ), we're akin to the queerats in that( and a lot of other things ). Meaning the queerats have nothing to impose their superiority, I think.

Tl;dr: They are teenagers with enough power to kill dozens of people on the spot, queerats have lances, they win. Therefore they have no reason to obey them.


Anyway, I hope there's a good explanation to their not attacking the queerats, at least better than them feeling like they are family

Now that I think about it, I'm kind of curious how squealer would actually control a bunch of fiends?

Like most have already said, these kids can kill dozens of people with ease, so what's stopping them from actually killing the queerats, or each other for that matter, when their older that is (and they would have 1 adult fiend? If they didn't kill him at some point that is).

What's stopping the fiend from accidentally or purposely slaughtering all of the infants that squealer kidnapped? As ugly a thought it may be, They ARE humans after all. If there isn't a good explanation for the fiend control, this plan falls apart at that point.

Psychobuster reminds me of a map attack in SRW. Lol

other than that, it was a fairly explained episode. Can't wait for what will happen in the next episode since I know that it will be epic!
