[Anime] Space Dandy

Space Dandy 5 is the best so far. I'm definitely adding Space Dandy to the list of anime to have on hard copy.

Space Dandy reminds me over and over, of what I fell in love with, the anime's of the 90's and early 2000's. Over and over I am made to go through memory lane watching this series.

So many parts of episode 6 (among other episodes) made me think of FLCL... If FLCL ever depicted the "outer space" events of the series, or just took place in that part of the backdrop, I can't imagine any anime being closer to depicting that world than Space Dandy.

On a related note, "Space Dandy O.S.T.1 Best Hit BBP" has been scheduled for Japanese release March 26th." according to Crunchyroll. I would import in a heartbeat.

Great episode. I'm curious if I enjoyed it so much cause episode 9 was horribly boring. But I digress.

All those bits? Great. But the truly hilarious bit can be summed up in two words.

This, SO FUCKING MUCH! Once I realized what the episode was shouting back to (or rather, what it was making fun of), I loved the beauty of it all even more.
