Ef A Tale of Melodies

First season info: The anime revolves around two protagonists, Hirono Hiro and Asou Renji. On Christmas Eve, Hirono Hiro meets a girl named Miyamura Miyako who was chasing a purse snatcher. Hiro later finds out that Miyako also goes to the same school as he does and they start hanging out together. This made Hiro's childhood friend, Shindou Kei, feel left out. Kei then tries to compete with Miyako for Hiro's affection and a love triangle ensues. The anime also tells the story of Asou Renji. Renji meets a girl named Shindou Chihiro at an abandoned train station. He soon learns that Chihiro suffers from a type of amnesia where her memory span only lasts for 13 hours. He also discovers Chihiro's dream of writing a novel, but she has never been able to fulfill that dream due to her condition. Renji then decides to help her fulfill that dream.

Second season to Ef a tale of Memories. I don't know if it's any good to watch since I didn't watch the first season but the music sounds very nice.

Kaimax Best Master-San
I'll certainly watch it, and next month I'll get both games from my friend (BANZAI!!!).

Now this season is for the pairing of Kuze Shuichi and Mizuki Hayama, and Yu Himuro and Yuko Amamiya. This is the final season.

Music from Tenmon is a 10 thumbs up. :D
Tenmon has always worked with Makoto Shinkai, and his fine work of music always mesmerize people with it's GREAT Violin arrangements.

Is the First season worth to watch Kaimax? The preview for the first season didn't really catch my interest. :?

It's worth it, if you want to "complete" the whole set. Renji and Chihiro's stories is the best in the first season, Miyako X Hiro X Kei 's love Triangle is close to a "School Days" love triangle (Kotonoha X Makoto X Sekai).

Although I like Kyosuke's effort to film Kei.

Just watch it, you don't have anything to lose.
:D

Agreed, the first season provided one the best endings to an anime I've seen, it actually had closure. Unlike some other romance animes.

Here is a my take on the first season: https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=3230&highlight=tale+memories.

I am sure there will be quite a number of Ef fans looking forward to the second season. In my opinion, Ef~ A tale of memories could have been one of the best titles in Fall 2007, but it has been overlooked partly due to its abstract nature.

Both games focus did not focus much on the relationship between Yuko Amamiya and Yu Himura, so the second season should provide some additional information.

I agree too. I really enjoyed the first season, but it's the kind of anime where there isn't much to talk about, if you know what I mean. Which isn't a bad thing at all.

I'm also looking forward to the second season. Thanks for the heads-up, oldmanleroy.

didnt really enjoy the first season, since it seemed to have more style than substance, so most likely i wont be watching the 2nd season

This is good news! I didn't know there was going to be a second season of this show, and I really didn't think it was popular enough to have one. Either way, I loved the first season because
Spoiler:
MY GIRL MIYAKO WON!!!
