yeah, I agree.
The story line seems to confuse the viewers before building up(?) Shu's character

Entire show is going nowhere. And the plot twists are truly annoying.

Production IG is trolling.

Episode 18:
Spoiler:
I'm trying to wrap my head around how three random Voids produce a missile with a shield. And the UN (or whatever they're called) forgot about their own satellite weapon (which has a cloaking device for some reason), and they are operated by that one kid who we haven't seen in a long time. And there's 256 of them now instead of just one ... what the heck!?

Suddenly, a secret organization that's been around a long time! Haruka, what were you thinking? Having Shu's arm cut off was the best plan you could come up with after all this!? Thank you, Scarface! You're this anime's only hope! The Old Man's minions are shooting the place up, yet there are still six punks hanging around to be killed off by Mana-Inori.

And what was with that flashback? "Hey, Inori ... about your Void ... nevermind. You are you." There's like two different trains of thought in this flashback and yet it only lasts for seconds. Shu could have just as easily have done the "you are you" speech in the present. We still don't know why Inori has that sword for a Void either. Not like it matters since Arisa still has that shield despite her character changing completely. "Why won't Gai love me~!?"

To top it all off, we got X-23-Inori. She cuts up Endlaves, yet gets caught in a simple net. Even though she has crystals protruding from not only her arms, but also her back.

It says a lot when the most reasonable thing that happened in this episode is that Shu didn't immediately regain his powers, even though that might have been preferable here.

Like I said, this anime is Fucking whack.

I laughed at Inori trying the whole "I'm a bad ass I can chop enlaves in half, look at the explosion behind me " only to get catch in the blast herself

Episode 18

LSD levels: Over the top
Acid Trip Level Paaaassssssttttt the Outer Space man!

Spoiler:

Overall, not the best episode.

It didn't really get anywhere, except Zombie-Gai randomly killing some highschool cretins and Arisa being pathetic.

Speaking of which, her grandfather being killed off is the biggest trolling moment I've seen so far. I was already hoping that this badass mo-fo would slice-and-dice her like a proper disciple required. "Gone soft" indeed.

Also, Undertakers are being played for fools again. These guys really don't have it easy, do they? Maybe that makes you think twice before anymore miserable conspiracies Tsugumi.

Daryl finally calling it quits with Anti-Bodies was not really surprising. As was him getting owned.

Mana-Inori is delicious.

So, Daath has finally been revealed for...whatever they are really. I'm guessing they're producer stand-ins playing everyone for fools in Xanatos Speed Chess, given how they are backing everyone by now it seems.

Leukocyte point is not really that surprising, if one assumes that:

- Only initially couple of satellites were actually reported as being constructed, hence why Majestic 12 United Nations wasn't aware of all the other 256.

- Expanding on that point, actual construction was done by GHQ/Anti-bodies who did not stricte answered to U.N at this point, but Keido and Daath/Da'ath

- Given that Keido did pretty well to hide all of Japan's SNAFUs for (implied) long while given he killed most of the government and started an Apocalypse on the side, fooling Security council on some orbital weapons is not that extreme. Although given, 256 is quite a lot of hardware.

Inb4 Scarface then rolling in next episode and derailing it all to hell.
By all means.

You just summed up the Code geass ending lol.

[spoil] Shu's void is like a double edged sword eh? Not bad at least it doesn't make him op.I'm kinda bummed there's no Inori in this ep but Ayase caring about Shu made up for that.

lol now that you mentioned it... sounds kinda Geass-like[spoil]doesn't care about himself if its for the people he love/care.

His void will suck all the impurities/virus/"cancer" in the world while he starts self-destructing, thus saving everyone... Just like Hare's hero? then flashbacks to Hare

Ayase might be a win... but this is the real win for me...

Episode 19:
Spoiler:
"You killed my husband ... didn't you, Brother?"
What?

"I thought you were best friends."
What again?

"While on the African battlefront..."
What once more?

"What's so funny?"
Plenty.

"Haruka isn't my real mother."
Kind of figured, but still, it's a little late. And whose child is Mana?

"You want to keep it all to yourself don't you? Despicable."
Scarface is the ubertroll. Hand-knitted hat, singing, dancing, waxing poetic, jumping from two stories high, jumping out of the way of flying subordinates, running over katawa shoujo, and everything. You shall be missed.

"So this time, I want to stand up on my own."
Further proof that Ayase is defined by her disability.

"... where's this coming from!?"
My response to like 90% of the crap that happens in this anime.

So Shu's power is to absorb the power of other Voids? And Shu suddenly has this huge Messiah complex ...?
"... where's this coming from!?"

Haruka said that Mana is her daughter then that could only mean she got impregnated before Shoe's dad died.

People shouldnt be surprised at what happens to this anime specially at this point.

OK, by this point I'm pretty sure GC is directed by M. Night Shamamalama.
