I just hope the anime adaptation follows the manga story and not another side story work. It's a cool idea to have it's own story but not end it at certain number of episodes.. These days the famous number is 25 or 13 >.< good bye to ao no exorcist

I have watched like 2 episodes of this and It is SUPER ecchi. So if you don't like ecchi then don't even bother with it. However if you do like ecchi, It could be worth checking out. It appeared to have some really cool fights and super powers to go along with the ecchi.

Maken-ki is a full Ecchi anime adopted from the manga, especially Haruko the most *Ehem* Busty one. (Damn, I want a girlfriend like her.)
But I'm surprised Maken-ki is now release a DVD Special/OVA when I look on the website, I can't wait to download it.

I just logged in to ask does anyone else feel like something is missing?
Before it was an actual loveable anime with Action, Comedy, Ecchi, and Plot only two of those seemed to survive... It just feels like all those other incoherent comedy that end after like 12 episodes with no plot advancement. Do they have a new producer or studio? Who ever took over murdered the series. Once you make your anime nothing but ecchi and skit comedy never are you the same again. Is it gonna be like those anime that have amazing first seasons shit second seasons than pray you stay around for the great end?

Upon performing a check on wikipedia, it appears the director, as well as the studio, is different from that of season 1.
