I always try to get the best out of both worlds whenever it's anime or manga. For me the manga is way advance than the anime, but as an anime it's more entertaining to watch than just plain reading.Sometimes I agree with this, but lately I've been preferring the manga version of a series over the anime. I don't know if it's the transfer from reading to watching it, the VA's, or the pointless fillers.
In Beelzebub's case, the anime is pretty good. More humor the manga has, the better the anime turns out IMO.

I expect that commedically unexpected when it comes to this series. I'm really liking this new story arc, but after the volley ball one, I don't think it could get any better.

Agreed. It seems that it went downhill a bit after the volleyball arc. I mean, at that point it was at the top of my list, uncontested, trumping one piece, death note...maybe not slam dunk, i haven't read that in 5 years though.
