Psycho-Pass - 9/10

Excellent anime, a shame I waited so long to watch it. Eagerly awaiting the second season.

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes:7.5/10 because it stops midway and they haven't made anther season(those bastards) otherwise a solid 9.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei! - 5/10

Mindless Fate moeblob. It had lip scissoring and enough asses to make me grid through it. And the actions stuff is nicely done.

I want to dedicate this last bit to Tokyo ESP and to what I think went wrong with it. - They shouldn't have told the beginning of the fucking story. It completely ruined the main heroine. I was actually existed to see her in the first episode because they made it sound like she was a badass but nope. Instead they should have went on where the first episode ended and not tell the entire story of what'sherfaceagain.

Tokyo ESP was not up to snuff and I don't like it at all.

It's called character growth, you uncultured swine. It's meant to be as much about how Rinka takes several levels in badassery as it is about the adventures of Nipponese X-Men (though the anime didn't really do a good job of showing it at first, starting in medias res did a number on it).

Besides, as of the latest translated chapters, she's an even bigger badass than that first episode showed.

They should have continued where the first episode left off and only mention her past. Would have made the anime more interesting.

I haven't read the manga.

Spoiler:
That's what in medias res means. The first episode showed what was practically the last major fight of the first half of the manga, so we'll be getting back to that point within... maybe episode 11 or 12 of the anime. The manga actually starts from when she first gets her powers (basically the midpoint of episode 2).

Terror in Resonance: 10/10

With the slight tinge from the cowboy bebop movie, this show's got a mean left hook. I'm not sure why this series has less hype than SAO.

SAO II: 0/10
Dropped this. First because on the land of the rising sun with VRMMORPG WITH SWORDS, there's only 1 guy using a sword in a gun game. Second, the dumb girl involved with the guy. Clearly, she's only there to be boned and for fps players irl to use her name for. Someone I read about mentioning her having such trauma only to be cured by trolling her then slips back AGAIN when she sees the object she's traumatized with IN a game about shooting people. Main point: SHE DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. The whole series is a "milk me" series that even Atlus laughs at for doing such crappy job.

Alright, a couple of anime done for this season, so let's get them out of the way.

Spoiler:
Bakumatsu Rock - 7/10
+Music is pretty decent. Mostly pop rock radio fare, but would definitely listen to it more often than this bullshit you hear in radio these days
+Interesting plot and characters, gave me a laugh and a half
+Crazy shenanigans in an anachronistic world of feudal era Japan and homo-erotic bishounen rockers
-The above plus might also be a minus, because it makes the show really niche and for a VERY specific audience (this really did just start off as my guilty pleasure of the season)
-The animation during the live band segments. The CGI can get pretty cringeworthy (makes most CG mecha these days watchable), and even the hand-drawn animated parts can get pretty stiff
-Very, VERY sudden Mood Whiplash during parts in the second half, and turns extremely WTF-y near the end

Aldnoah.Zero (1st cour)
I'm withholding a proper review for this so far, mainly because my opinion on the first season kept changing. It started as a solid 9, dropped down to a 7 near the end because of the asspulls in the plot, and then just made me speechless during the ending. So yeah, I'm gonna let the 2nd cour determine my final opinion on this, but I'm not particularly hopeful anymore.

Zankyou no FUCKING Terror - 16/16 kilotons of TNT (somebody better get this reference)
This post of mine is enough from me to state my opinion on this masterpiece that really should be more hyped and marketed than it is.

With those out of the way, I was also going to post my opinion of an older show I finished recently, but...

^This pretty much rounds up my opinions of it as well. Pretty much everything was well done, save for some useless characters (*coughlesboingoisn'tenoughredemptioncough*), and the fact that it's actually a lot more dialogue and philosophy-obsessed than original previews might make it out to be, so some people might get deterred from watching it.

If that is deterring you, don't let it. It's still a must-watch, at least once.

The Irregular in Magic High School: 7/10

The show is glowing!! No seriously, if someone walks in on you while watching this and doesn't know jack about anime, they'd think you've pumped up your gamma/trying to ruin your eyes. The show handled a superman-ish character pretty nicely since he's covered in mystery for the most part of the show. Characters are simple-looking but the glow just makes it attractive.

The bad thing about this show is that there's less fun, so to speak. At the early episodes, I've watched more explanations than cool battle scenes and that's just boring for me. Their fun times is so short that you'd only chuckle before you get thrown back to the serious situation. To add, another problem for this show is that it's kind of like a mainstream, "throw the problem at him" feel that just puts me off. Lastly is the transition of arcs - there are two arcs that's got an event that is missing after they teased me for it back at the first one. By the time the last one enters, I just said to myself:"hypocrites, in the end it's the same shit".

So in the end it's not a bad watch yet there's still slight problems in the show. At least it's not as bad as SAO II.

Let's do this.

Zankyou no Terror: ...I really have no words to truly sum ZnT. Beautiful soundtrack, amazing characters, stunning backgrounds, and that GODDAMN ending. This anime tried and succeeded in dividing by zero. MustWatch/10. Easily the best anime I've seen since the second season of Fate/Zero.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear: Meteoroid-Falling, Burning, and Disappear, Then...: Very enjoyable 9/10

Tokyo ESP: 7/10; poor OP, outstanding ED, cool effects, likable characters. Not bad for an X-Men clone. Looking forward to season two.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Unicorn - 8/10

Tokyo Ghoul: Disappointment/10 - 5/10 counting the terrible finale, 6.8/10 not counting the finale

Aldnoah.Zero: 7/10. It really is too bad that Urobutcher left after episode three, which is why I assume the anime took such a dive.

Space Dandy: 10/10

Show caught me in my underwear. The show in general is a kaleidoscope. Who the hell knew the statue of liberty could be so bad ass? I mean, most of the time it just get destroyed lol! I recommend this show purely for that epic twist by the end of the 2nd season.

A very large amount of this post is very true. I had just realized just how vibrant the show actually is(literally). Unfortunately the LN suffers from the same exact issues as the show. Way too much elaboration about magic, here's the kicker, the LN is fucking absurd with the explanations. If I were to dumb down all the explanations of magic in the LN I could easily kill off like 3-4 books from the series. There's just THAT MUCH.

But where I agree to disagree with your points are the levels of action. I'm not to particularly crazy about the action scenes, I just wish the ones with Tatsuya were far more showy.
A perfect example was the 9-Schools Arc

Spoiler:
When Tatsuya is destroying Ichijou's A-Rank "Rupture" spell with Gram Demolition while stylishly flipping all over the place.

That particular scene literally made me jump out of my chair, because the final parts of it were just so fucking stylish, it literally was exactly how I saw it from the book.

He truly is a monster of another class, but he doesn't give me the vibes I get from reading about him, despite all that his Seiyuu did an excellent job.

Anyways,

Sword of the Stranger
8.3/10

This movie is simply bonkers. The fight scenes that do exist are absolutely godlike. For a one-shot thing I absolutely love this movie, Chinese and Japanese swordsmen cutting each other to pieces, drugs, dogs, and little boys, what's not to like? But seriously, if anybody hasn't seen this movie yet, do yourself a favor and go torrent this shit.

Persona 4 the Golden Animation(P4GA): 6/10

Finally finished this since I keep forgetting to. This is way too different than P4A. Mainly because for me, the mascot had better development than the center of this show. Long story short, I'd like the center to develop with the party not the party developing for her. Felt like I missed something huge since I didn't play the game for this series but the previous animation didn't give that feel at all.

Aldnoah.Zero

Great production value. Really good visuals, on point animation, really strong soundtrack.
The character designs were a bit blobby for a show which should want to be taken seriously.
The writing was pretty horrible, and the characters are too goddamn shit to even care about.

I don't really want to rate it yet, because the "story" isn't finished yet and there might be a chance (albeit a very small one) that the next season might save the show, although I highly doubt it.
As of right now: 6/10 because it's pretty to look at and really nothing more
Can't believe I wasted like 4 hours of my life on that :x

Barakamon 7/10

I love/hate this show. The hate part isn't really there it's just I want to hate it but then it makes me laugh and I end up liking it. It's a great relaxing show. Not something I would watch on my own.

Tsamari C.E.O of Pancakes
[color=#ff69b4]Psycho-Pass 9/10
I don't think I've ended up sitting down and watching a full anime in sometime, but Psycho-Pass had something about it to where I had to just keep going when I was watching it till I got to the end of it. It was amazing in the long run.

Rail Wars! 7/10
It's not bad, but it's not best, I had a good time watching it stop not something I would go back and watch.

Space Dandy 2nd Season 8/10
I found myself not like it as much as I did for the first season of it till about half way into, but it's still funny as hell a lot of the time and every episode has something nice about it that makes it pop out a bit. Ending give me a good laugh.

Hanamonogatari 8/10
it's fucking Monogatari that all I'm going to say about it. But no Senjougahara so it loses one point.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei 8/10
Ended up keeping to the light novels pretty well.

Hanayamata 8/10
More cute spice of life animes. Hana made the anime really fun to watch with just how random she is at times.

Tokyo Ghoul 6/10
First three episode are really good, last 2 episode are pretty good as well, but fuck everything inbetween. It had some nice fight scenes and the OP and Ed for the anime were nice, but the ending was pretty fucking bed. Time to read the manga on this one.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun 8/10
The characters for this anime make it a pretty good watch and the anime is pretty funny at times with Shoujo manga thing in the anime.

Noragami 10/10

Heaven's lost property 10/10

Highschool DxD 10/10

Baka to Test 10/10
