Sora no Otoshimono (Season 3 Announced!)

Damn it their battle was way too short and way less dramatic than in the manga....

and looks like the movie is about the events before and Kazane Hiyori Arc herself. Good thing that the movie still follows the manga closely.

Haha. I thought that this last episode was a nice conclusion for this story arc.
As for this season, I thought that I enjoyed it less than the first, but it was still solid. The trailer for the movie looks pretty good as well, so I'll be eagerly waiting for that to be released.

After browsing through my local bookstore, the cover on the latest volume of Sora no Otoshimono (was it volume 14?) announced that a 3rd season is currently in production.

For the anime series to consists of at least 3 seasons and a movie is an indication that said title is very popular among viewers. :)

Good god, there's a ton of animes that I'm planning on seeing that's getting soooo many extra seasons, Zero no Tsukaima and this for example, stop progressing so fast!

Awesome, am definitely looking forward to the season 3, and also hoping that season 3 is truer to the manga and brings Kazane Hiyori back. It was pretty depressing to end off the movie by having Hiyori die =/

I just watched the movie the other day, Im excited for this.

I'm really looking forward to this. I finally got round to the watching the movie a couple of days ago and was wondering about another season. I'll certainly be watching this with my Nympth Neno :)

Known about this for a looooong while. I was kinda disappointed with the movie myself, mainly because the first 45 minutes or so was just one giant recap... :/ but season 3 should be pretty awesome. Especially if you've been keeping up with the manga and the direction it's going.

Theatre release not Season

I really don't know what happened here. I'm assuming a theatrical release of 1.5 hours is a downgrade over a season of 4 hours. Kinda disappointing.
