Hi Guys,
im now hooked into anime because my friend told me to watch
code geass.. and then gurren lagann.. then I realized that anime is such a cool stuff for entertainment..
i'm not doing much so I would like to watch some animes but i lack knowledge about them.. I only know where to download www.tokyotosho.com

I really like good stories, with some humors and unpredicatble series.. not to mention hot characters :P

I always reccomend Akira. Wolf's Rain was pretty good, a little hard to follow, but pretty good. Evangelion, once again a little hard to follow (some episodes), but come on big ass robots that bleed, what's not to like. Full Metal Alchemist was one of my favs. And deffinitely check out Ninja Scroll. Also check out Trinity Blood... Is that it? Abel Nightroad was the main character.

Speaking of samurais, sword of the stranger is a good movie as well

Well, sounds like a lot of mecha-related anime there, so I wouldnt really know what to recommend. Can't go really go wrong with most of the other suggestions, though I do strongly suggest sola if you don't mind a short series. Nothing to do with super futuristic technology, just a good anime series.
