Yeah, it's actually a rather common game, with occasional variations. I've also seen a version where you avoid stepping on the lines between tiles. Usually played by younger children, but hey, even Hisao got caught in the game. 8)

Ok...... I found some problems here and it was regarding Katawa Shoujo's game..
As I first time Play it...(In Vista Widows) I remember hearing some characters Voices there before and when i play it on Windows XP.... well the sound of the characters.....well....i rather say it it was Unvoices.... Did some of you guys faced this issues?? please help me I can Play a game Epsecially VN without Voice (=.=")

Ah damn... A bit late to ask the question but here goes anyway.I know there is an option to turn off the H-scenes but is this a simple ON-OFF option or a password protection one? It's plain weird to walk in the room and see my borthers (11 and 12) on my computer playing X-chance, Pick me Honey and whatever H-games I have in possesion. Secondly. reading the entire Q&A I saw it will be translated in Duch as well. (Benelux FTW XD) However I do hope that someone who knows the language will translate it. well you can try folder lock for a change. It works by lock and hidden the files so no one will be able to access it (Even the User themself Unless they are able to remember the password of it. In my case it was worse, I got 5 naphews and all of them are girls and Still under age(Still in Grade sholl age 5 6 and a fertanal twins. So you get tehidea they always wacked me in group wheni'm not allow them to play my H-Game( just hopefully they didn't do it on me (I'm still Ok).

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how this game is holding up in Japan?
I'm assuming that they know about it, hence the ongoing Japanese translation but what's their response and attitude towards the game, anybody know?

Well, they did say there would be no payment. I appreciate that alot, this might be the one visual novel I'm willing to buy, but since it's free I really really appreciate this.
Awesome visual novel Act 1, with obvious elaboration on Shizune(First main) and Rin. No complains at all this one, since among all I think people are most interested with either of them.
I'm guessing that the full version won't come out anytime soon, not this year at least.
Currently speculating over Kenji's role, got just one bright idea, and I think it might just be true. Will see in the future.
The soundtracks are really, really beautiful. Simple and graceful. Afternoon is my favourite.
Final scene of Shizune is well made, really. It does feel like a real wide world, and that's something.
Well my questions are, will outer world influence be included in KS?
ALso, is Shizune mute? I thought she's only deaf, so she be making some noise at least? Or perhaps I've mistaken.
Third question is I wonder whether anyone would answer after still long LOL.

ok i been in the Katawa Shoujo website and there a lot of talk but not a lot about the finishing of the game and i played this last year and it a great game so were it go did they stop making it or what

So I was thinking about Shizune, Misha is always her medium of communication and I find it hard that Hisao and Shizune would be intimate with that. So, is there any chance in the full version that Hisao will learn how to communicate with hand sign?

Ah. Another person with awesome taste.
There's a reason Rin rhymes with win.
Act 2 is not going to be released on its own. All the remaining acts are going to be released together, along with the 1st one again (which will be improved slightly, including bug fixes), but unfortunately the actual release has not yet been announced, and they are not, on their forums or blog, releasing details on how far through development they are.
Personally, I can't wait! ^_^

I think that all the questions for Act 1 is already answered anyway, rather than giving them question, why not we let them finish it first.
but if they want to start another session they can always tell me/admins to re-sticky it.
and at a time like this, it's much better to go ask to they're site directly.
