I once thought about doing this but kind of like a talk show talking about hentai, visual novels and anime, but I'm extremely lazy.

Hell yes, that sounds like so much fun! i would be so down to take part in it! i could do MTG, i love that game and have a semi competitive modern deck. Also, if anyone wants to play mtg with me on skype of somthing, pm me, much funs to be had.

It's actually even stricter than that, they don't give out team pages to just any partner, you need to have a reasonably large, legitimate organization or community and group of active, popular streamers in order to land one. I find it rather silly myself, these aren't very advanced features and they don't seem like something that should be kept under lock and key for only the privileged elite.

However, having a team page isn't necessarily needed, with a bit of ingenuity you can accomplish similar or greater aspects of communal connection. Proper stream titling and links within your profile and occasionally appearing on the stream to other relevant streamers can help build that aspect and increase search term relevancy on Twitch and external engines. As Twitch chats use the IRC protocol it would be child's play to script a bot to aggregate news and announcements between various Fakku streamer channels. Next step would be to use an audio workstation to route and manage audio channels from a dedicated VOIP server between each stream so there could be communication between channels while retaining audio quality and reducing excess noise interference for each individual. None of this is insanely hard to do, but you'd need a decent voice server (At least a dedicated 100mb line on a VPS or dedicated) running a service with advanced management and rule capabilities (ie. Teamspeak), along with a DAW (Ableton, Logic) in order to accomplish the latter.

I'd be willing to pitch in access to one of my servers, some of my expertise and recommendations in these matters if the idea can garner enough interest, but I'm not going to be willing to put in the labour required if at least a few streamers can't keep a decent concurrent viewer count and regular streaming schedules.

As for talking about hentai and the sort, I'm also very up to do that as well. What should I talk about? Doujins that have been recently uploaded on Fakku? Hentai new and old? I would like to see suggestions, and I'm very willing to add segments on the stream for them.

Talking about hentai is okay from time to time but it's not really all that exciting. Maybe doing reviews every once in a while would be okay, or noting new releases etc, doujins you thought were cool; but you'd garner more interest simply discussing anime & manga or erogames, JRPGs, visual novels and the like. Fakku is generally behind the times on it's uploads, seeing stuff weeks after it's been released on exhentai, I don't think a good portion of the active users on the forums would be too interested in what's actually on here for content.

The only way I can really see this kicking off is if Jacob pitches in and gives it some front page promotion.

For starting, show Steins;Gate a bit, would double as an advertisement for fakku shop :)
Maybe reviews for the longer series, like Velvet Kiss(which even if not hosted here anymore, it's been published and got well know, both for plot and 'plot') or Harem Butai.

About MTG, any idea how you will stream the digital one? I've looked into Magic in the past, never had time(or money) to build decks, but I have some decks on Cockatrice, try taking a look at it. It supports games with up to 8 people(if my memory serves...), so we could also have some free-for-all fun '--'

Funny thing is that I've just bought the LE of Steins;Gate from this site, so that's a good jumping off point.

As for MtG, I will be streaming using either Cockatrice or showcasing draft on the MTGO. I'm down for some crazy EDH madness on Cockatrice and willing to show match-ups both Modern and Standard formats IRL with a webcam.

I have quite a few friends that constantly play MtG on a high tier basis. I personally play Splinter Twin and Soul Sisters in modern, and waiting on my next paychck to finish off GW Hatebears while my friends have UR Storm, RUG Vial, Milira Pod, and a few others. This way you guys can see an assortment of decks and strats. Standard is another story though...

Not every time that I like pure standard, too limited...(though that's a thing on it's own, having few cards on the pool, knowing each and every possibility, instead of relying on old known combos)

Question for everyone :

What time zones do you guys live in? As of right now I am in the Korean time zone, so weekdays for stream might be a little hard to get viewers going. I'm still down in doing weekends, and depending on everyone's schedule, I'm still willing to do weekdays, but I need your guys' input. Thanks.

GMT-3 right here. Would have no problem watching from 7 to 11 pm central time on weekdays. When do you plan to stream, Korean time?

I would probably watch on weekends, when I'm more likely to have some free time and/or be bored.

Just do it once a week on Friday or Saturday.

Weekends should work best though. There's a lot of people in a lot of different timezones, so getting any traffic on weekdays would be a bit hard.

I'm guessing a majority of Fakku users are in the US, but you probably could put up a poll. Ask someone on Fakku to make a poll on the front page (or check if there has already been one) of what time zone they are in for future reference.

Alternatively you could put up a question on the stream as well.

EST, UTC - 5 hour

So the tentative plan as of right now is to stream every weekend, starting Sundays at 1100, Korean time. This way it'll broadcast Saturdays for America, around 2200 for the East Coast, and around 1900 for the West Coast.

I'm also pre-preemptively buying the streaming equipment that I needed to start (e.g capture card and web cam) streaming. I'm looking for a good mic/headset combo that will work well for streaming.

Also learning how to broadcast from a friend of mine that also streams games, so hopefully I can try my best to no screw up too badly for the first stream.

Just like to let you guys know the progress so far. I will set a date on when the first broadcast will come out, as well as ask help on doing test runs before the actual thing runs live. I am also thinking of making a CTFG thread for the stream when I get the ball rolling, but I'm not to sure if I should... Anywho, let me know if you guys have anything to add, thanks~
