Aussie for 2 weeks

I just HAD to live in Canberra...

If summer break's here right now, I could.

I'll be staying in Gold Coast for five days, three days in Sydney and three days in Adelaide. Sofitel Broadbeach for Gold Coast, Four Points for Sydney and Majestic Roof Garden for Adelaide.

I don't know how good Sofitel is but it has got to be better then anything in surfers paradise. Simply advice if you are heading into surfers, the police station is across from the nightclubs for a good reason and the shops there are overpriced junk for tourists to buy. If you want to go shopping go to Habourtown, if you want to see the theme parks Dreamworld is the best for rides Movieworld and Seaworld are the best for attractions and get there early they get packed out.

Now only tourists really go to the surfers paradise beach, most local surfers would go to coolangatta beach.

And if you like racing go out to Ipswich raceway, you can drive the race cars.

Anything else you wanna know just ask.

Yeah, pretty much what you said. I'm not really a surfer tho, just want to see how good is this place called 'surfer's paradise' by lots of people. Plus I'm vacationing with my wives and kids, and my oldest kid is still two years old so of course I can't take her to someplace physically strenuous.

Surfers is probably the most hated place on the coast avoid going there after about 10pm the drunks start walking out. I remember sitting at the starbucks there and this 20 something girl walking past barely able to stay my brothers mate yells out show us ya tits so just turns her head gives of a half drunken smile with one raised eyebrow and this was at 9pm. But if you are going into surfers i recommend infinity.

Also Tambourine mountain is good for families, i usually take my wife and kids up there every so often. In the center of the town there is a main road that has a lot of european culture and there is a glowworm cave that you can go to with winery's over the place.

If you were to head to melbourne, devs damoz and I would probably chill.

However, syd is too far away for me. Boo.
