Wasn't random. The dude had a problem with an anime or anime itself. Which means dragon maid 2 is delayed.

Oh no I just meant it came out of nowhere, like who would have thought KyoAni's studio was gonna be burned down, of all places. I guess it was only a matter of time before one of these basement dwellers took it to the extreme.

voice cracked a bit when I was watching the vids posted on YouTube while I was on the phone. 33 people dead and 40 injured is very sad. updated - seems like the man who did this had a motive due to the company stealing his ideas or book, something in that line.

At least they cought the fucker.

Update: CEO of company just issued the statement that they lost all physical and Digital work from past and future shows to the fire...
so everything they worked on from day one till now is gone forever.

I just finished watching Violet Evergarden, one of most beautiful anime I've ever seen... So hearing this news saddens me immensely :(. I really hope Kyoani doesn't cease to exist after this horrible incident...
