By that time the rave had a line all the way back to the entrance of the con. Basically after dinner there was nothing left to do cause there were just so many people.

The rave blew. Holy fuck I have never seen so many sweaty male nerds in one area in my life. I saw maybe one or two pretty good looking chicks in there, but they were being swarmed on by greasballs, it was a pretty bad sight.

Trust me; you did not miss a thing. Because of the amount of people, there was barely any room to dance and it felt like 105 degrees.

wait they had a rave??? was it with crappy j dance with fruit punch, dancing with fat wapaneses in cat ears, crowds of people say kawaii and shit. maybe i should of suicide bomb the place instead of pulling the fire alarm

I don't know about you but the first night was pretty good imo. The second night is always lacking so I don't go on the second night. I don't know what you mean by male nerds because I was surrounded by fit black men as far as the eye could see.

I was there the second night. I didn't really see all that many black guys to be honest, pardon me if that's some kind of inside joke. It took me a god awful long time to get in, because my friends decided it would be a good idea to get in line at it's longest point. As far as I could see, there were only a lot of nerds, a few emo narutards and every now and then a group of good looking people sort of huddled together chatting it up instead of dancing. If that's how big the difference is between groups, I'll consider going there on the first night next time.

Did you go to the Vocaloid panel? I couldn't stop laughing at the masquerade skits and it was actually pretty informational, nothing too spectacular though.

For those of you who missed it.

First night was nothing like that. Maybe at the start for a bit but I never go in until its been going for atleast an hour so everything is in full swing. Line on the first night is always shorter too. Only had to wait about 10minutes which was reasonable.

Ya I went to the Vocaloid panel which was pretty nice although it would of been better if they had more time so they could go more indepth into how you create songs with Vocaloid. It was mostly going over all the different Vocaloid and their singing traits for what they are good at and what they are bad at. To be quite honest I actually didn't know there were more than 5 Vocaloid out there. Learn something new every day I guess.

Never went to the masquerade but I should one day.

I'll take that into consideration next time, this was my first convention so I didn't really plan much out like I should have but I'll do things differently next year.

I imagine there would be some legal issues about showing people how to create Vocaloid songs that haven't bought the software, but it was pretty informative none the less. I didn't know that each of them had specific traits though, what they're good at singing and what they're not good at singing, most of the panel was news to me.

The masquerade was pretty awesome, it was one of the highlights of my trip and I'll definitely be going to that next year.

Sindalf Used to do stuff
I don't think there will be legal issues as long as they use fan created music. Japan doesn't seem big on taking down Vocaloid stuff for copyright issues.
