I've been meaning to pick up Nisekoi.

The anime does a pretty good job.

It cuts a lot of the useless side stuff out without gutting any of the important story elements.

And it paces the story very nicely. Nothing feels drawn out or too fast.

And the actually animation is quite good.

The thing about Nisekoi is that I like all three heroines. I've never seen a manga that made me like every single main heroine without fail.
