I expected the lemmings to quit before the 7th badge.

So are they going to do a gold/silver play through now?

Yeah. What game they gonna be doing next?

Damn I missed it. I saw them black out and then went to take a shower and then forgot about it.

I watched them take on Lance's Dragonite with a level 36 Venomoth. That super-awesome AI did nothing but use Barrier (seriously why does it know Barrier?) and Agility. Then I got frustrated when they rechallenged the E4 twice more without any form of healing. Shame I was at the shop today or I would have watched it. 20 more hours until a new game.

Also there's a G/S/C version, but they haven't disallowed Start or Selectspamming. They disabled Start and Select. Thank fuck. Good thing you can survive without both.

I watched some videos on YT, and the last battles seem pretty normal unlike other instances.

That really surprising. Only time I watched it was when they were fucking around in an elevator for about an hour and I just gave up.

It's a website where people host channels to stream their gaming. Usually where people stream their games of League of Legends and other online games.

That's the word. There has also been mentions from the streamhost that he might romhack the game so that when they meet Red under Mt Silver he'll have the team that they won the game with this time around, which is a cool touch I guess.

So... this "Twitch plays Pokemon" that I've been seeing mentioned recently is the whole site deciding to play or something?

And is a big deal for what reason, exactly?

In a sense. Basically an emulator was "hooked" up to the the stream and chat section of the video, so that any button input that was typed onto the chat would make the emulator "press" that button (so basically, A, B, Start, Select, Up, Down, Left and Right). What made this worth watching is that one of the modes took in ALL the inputs entered in chat, which was occupied by thousands of people at a time. Chaos and a story for the history books ensued.

As for why it's a big deal, I'll let BBC take care of that.

They're doing Pokemon Crystal now. My favourite game.
