Pain in the FAKKU ass...

I know a lot of people, such as myself, have simply been lurking for a long time, I know I've been lurking since late '06. Finally signed up for the forums around when motemote started, and mostly just posted there for the first few months. Only lately with no new motemotes battles to post long blocks of texts in, have I been posting in the other forums. But I'd like to think (I'm sure most would) that most of my posts (except for my recent calling out of Chuu!! simply out of a combination of boredom and annoyance) are well thought out, well worded, and aren't simply a repetition of what others have said using different words.

I do know that there are some people that are fairly new that have racked up a huge post count, most of which consist of one sentance (or smaller) short pointless responses to just about every thread on the forums though, so I understand Onee-Chan's frustation. I'm not sure how else you would handle the titles though, other than perhaps simply based on how you joined. The rep system is mostly broken, as most people either don't really care about it (such as myself) or use it to simply punish people they personally dislike or reward people they are buddies with. Especially given that you can de-rep the same person back to back to back day after day without ever having to rep or de-rep anyone else in between.

Perhaps it should be something more personal, and given out by the mods that troll the forums regularly and are familiar with the various personalities in it. But then that has it's definite down sides as well.

I'm honestly not sure how you would solve the issue, other than doing what I generally do. That is to say simply not care about what people's titles or reps are, and judge them on your personal experiences with them via their actual posts.

I see your point, however, I feel the need to point out this is a forum on a H-site. Not exactly the most intellectual material. Then again they do have specific forums for that shit. Look I'm not trying to take any specific side in this. I like a good rant as much as anyone, but out of courtesy to others I'll keep that in the appropriate forums, unless of course my rant is in response to the topic at hand.

hentai isnt so unintellectual as you would think. its a graphical expression of our own lusts right? or something to that effect anyway. and sexuality and sexual desires is something that unites us all, with a few minor exceptions. as long as we dont become like 4chan we ought to be fine and i dont see why we cant have a fun yet intellectual community. we did flame our first troll off the site, that was good fun. sorry i cant link that thread, could someone else?

Good point. Since i've posted that I've actually carried on several intellectually stimulating threads. This is actually a lot more fun than I originally assumed. I'm actually paying more attention to the forums now than the sites actual content. You people are pretty cool, and I'm a pretty antisocial individual.

But anyway, honestly, I think if someone in a month actually posted 400 or so posts, then it just shows how much they like Fakku. I mean, some people have more time than others and could posts 400 posts in a month ~ some people can't.

Also, most people come on the internet to relax ~ so not all posts could be intelligent and actually mean something. People goof off and in forums especially since it's just a place to discuss similar interests with other people.

Eh, I don't know. If people want to post an x amount of posts in a month ~ give them the title anyway. It's not like they typed "LULZ - That's cool!" in every single post they made.

They dedicated their time to posting here. So they should get the title if they want it.

I noticed that my post count jumped up quite a bit. I would like to hope I am contributing something to the forums with all my posts since I usually post in a few threads then wander away because of my A.D.D. Then again I could just be filling up the forums with useless junk.

As people have mentioned before. Your post count shouldn't matter as long as the content of your posts are good but, if you have 1000 posts of pure crap then you should take some time to fix the problem and actually contribute intelligently to the forums.

thats why you have 2 forums 1 to post all the inchoherent crap on and this one to contribute sensible stuff ... if that actually makes sense

It's all in the matter of personal opinion.

Just cause the comment is useless in your eyes, doesn't mean it's pointless. People come here for more that just hentai. Some uses this as one of their main forums, meaning they would have more post counts that others, just cause they've been here longer, are more active in threads you may consider pointless.

While quality is better, quantity is nice if that have significant values in them.\

ps: Some forums hide post counts to discourage post count spamming.
