Younger than 18 was a loong time ago for me. However I do recall more specifically that something that is marked with 'mature' 'adult content' or '18+ only' Always just made me more interested in what they were showing.
It's kinda sad really, as marketing types say 'Sex Sells'.
The only time I would see someone listening to the 18+ warning and not viewing would be if they were in public like a library or school setting... and even then the temptation is pretty strong.
