I'm looking forward to Sabaton's 'Heroes', sounds pretty good.
Similar style to most of their stuff from what's been released so far, but still sounds good.

I've also heard that Vintersorg going to release a new album this year, 'Naturbål'.
Nothings been released from that, but he always has at least one song per album I really get into, so I'm hoping it'll be good.

I love my The Lawerence Arms "Metropole" album.
A New Found Glory album could be out this year which I will be excited about, but they dropped to a 4 piece band cause of the case pending on Klein.
Then a new Pierce the Veil album waiting to hear more from it.
Rise Against I been waiting for their next album for some time. Them and NFG have been one of my favorite bands since middle school so excited to see what else they have in store.

Alot of maybe when it comes to albums I am looking forward to so could be this year or next.

Kent - Tigerdrottningen

It isn't too shabby after a few tries. On par with Jag Är Inte Rädd För Mörkret.

Final verdict: The lyrics are a bit pretentious but, you know what, I'm okay with that. The melodies are right up Kent alley, it could be a good thing or a bad one but that's up to you to decide.

Sabaton's "Heroes" is out, and it's a good album. Not their best in my opinion, but there are some very nice songs, and the stories behind them are all pretty cool.

"No Bullets Fly" gives the strongest sense of heroism of any of the songs, and has a very enjoyable chorus.

"Inmate 4859" is musically right up my alley. A dark, slow, powerful song with very heavy guitars.

"To Hell and Back" is a classic Sabaton song, with a very interesting addition to the sounds used. The best song on the album for me.

Interpol's next album El Pintor should be coming out around September.

St. Vincent - St. Vincent: It was a good album, but not as great as her previous work (but some gems in there). 7/10.

Swans - To Be Kind: A fucking monster album. Seriously some of the best stuff they've ever put out. 10/10.

Death Grips - The Power That B (Niggas on the Moon): If Government Plates had more MC Ride. Not as repetitive, and reminiscent of their early stuff like Full Moon (Death Classic) and "Live from Death Valley". 8/10 (Still waiting on part 2 of this double album).

Liars - Mess: Miles better than their last release, and some great oddities in here. 8/10

La Dispute - Rooms of the House: In the a similar vein to "Wildlife", but a lot more scattered. Not as many one-liners (thank god). Still better than their debut though. 8/10.

Angel Olsen - Burn Your Fire For No Witness: I listened to this for 3 months straight early this year, and it still holds up. I do like that she's gone electric on most of these tracks 8/10.

Still need to listen to Mogwai, Actress, Xiu Xiu, BBNG, Parquet Courts, and Trap Them. Looking forward to the new Interpol and Twilight Sad stuff later in the year.

Vintersorg's new album Naturbål is out, and it's pretty good. Certainly not on the level of his earlier works, or pieces like världsalltets fanfar, but overall better then the rest of his more recent works.

Överallt och ingenstans manages to maintain a slow and almost relaxing pace despite the rolling double bass drums throughout most the song. Lågornas rov is my favorite song on the album, with an amazing, if short, solo leading into the final chorus. The female vocals on Rymdens brinnande öar really bring the song to life, and mix very well with Andreas' voice.

In other news, I've heard Alestorm will be releasing a new Album 'Sunset on the Golden Age', and they've already released one song, 'drink', which shows a slightly more refined musical style, while still maintaining the somewhat silly nature I love. I've also gotten wind of a new Skálmöld album in the pipeline. So pirates and vikings fighting for my attention at the minute.

I though it was ok/good too, definitely not their best work imo. I liked A Thousand Suns and Living Things way more!

Deadmu5 - While(1<2); It was alright. Very stretched out.
Apathy - Connecticut Casual; Good hip hop album. Loved the production and the flow.
'Weird Al' Yankovic - Mandatory Fun; Solid Weird Al record. I really liked Tacky, Word Crimes and Foil.
Shabazz Palaces - Lese Majesty; Meh. I had high hopes for this but it was just boring. His previous album was much better.
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - Pikapika Fantajin; Loved it. It met all the expectations I had for it. The production was catchy and infectious. None of the songs were too alike. The lyrics were simple and easy to sing along with.

What I've liked so far
Young the Giant - Mind Over Matter
Cynic - Kindly Bent to Free Us (Definitely a let down, but still good)

Albums that haven't been released/I haven't listened to:
New Linkin Park album - Not expecting much, but I like Linkin Park so I'll listen to it)
Pink Floyd - Without a doubt the most anticipated album for me in years... I can't believe they're releasing a new album. I'm really hoping a tour comes after.
New Foo Fighters

I'm stoked for the TBR AC/DC album, and this weekend I'm going to buy 'Head Job' by Phil Rudd. I've been looking for 'Tales of Old Grand Daddy' by the Marcus Hook-Roll Band.

Been out for a month or 2 but Rise Against - "The Black Market" I think is an amazing cd. Has great songs that really mean something, but keeps their overall style in there. Love it!

Eminem / Busta Rhyme's song (I forget what its called), and "Dreams" by Cozz. I need to listen to some new alternative rock songs, but I haven't been listening to my local rock station in years. I'm still listening to songs from the late 90's/ early 2000s.

Knife Party's Abandon Ship. They are finally going to release a proper album, after 3 years.
One of their sickest song at the moment:
