Why have you not watched Densha Otoko? Go and do so now, you shan't regret it. It made me cry at a few points, very few things have moved me so deeply.

Oh, and for an honourary mention: Liar Game.

I've seen a few. But I can't recall all of the names, I'll have to ask my friend who watches them with me.
I've seen My Sassy Girl (but should really re-watch it, its been ages) and My Left Eye Sees Ghosts.
For shows, I really enjoyed Funny Wild Girl/Country Princess.

And last year we watched a Korean series that was excellent but I can't remember the name.
It was about a girl who's dad was in debt so she pretended to be the granddaughter of this old man who was dying because his one wish was to see her. I really wish I could remember it...an excellent love story, though.

I started watching dramas with my ex since it was our favorite past-time. Then it became my guilty pleasure, which is odd for a guy to watch dramas.

This is a completely different kind of Asian Drama from those above, but I've developed a mild fascination with Muhteşem Yüzyıl/Magnificent Century, the lavish Turkish historical series/soap opera about Suleyman the Magnificent. So far Suleyman has spent more time drinking wine and flirting with concubines than invading Hungary, which has caused Turkey's religious right [including its PM] to get their knickers in a twist, but by Western standards it's pretty tame. In any case, it's entertaining, and a good chance to bone up on Türkçe.

This is kinda old but this is what I'm watching now.
A moment to remember.

I had the same problem. I saw the cast list and got pretty excited but I could never get past the first few episodes.
I do like how It started though!
