At what age were you introduced to anime?

the 1st anime i've ever watch was the lupin III and Sailor moon around 96's or 98's..then came the Chō Denji Machine Voltes V...then Kenshin in late 2000..

I believe I was 5-7 years old I watched Dragonball

This right, around the age of 8, Pokemon,Dbz,Digimon, Beyblade etc

The first anime's I watched (way before I realized what it was) was Fist of the North Star and I think Gigantor....

At the ages from 0-4 I remember watching an anime about robots put on toonami I think it was that or maybe it was just adult swim. Anyway I'm still searching for it. All I remember was there was a girl and a guy the girl gave this guy a soda can and then he looked it and the shape matched lips then she was taken by some guys and then he saved her and then they went back to the start with sharing a soda can. Hehe that's all I remember but let's see I remember watching pokemon, yugioh, DBZ, beyblade, cardcaptor Sakura (the Japanese version), and sailor moon, maybe saint seiya(don't exactly remember how they fought but I read the manga and I got the feeling it was that).

I was born in 1994.

My parent's didn't care much for Japanese culture, and didn't even know the term, "anime" but they enjoyed Studio Ghibli films, so since the moment I was born, we watched stuff like Totoro on VHS. My parents also bought Kiki's Delivery Service, and I saw Princess Mononoke the moment it came out. One odd memory was when I was about five, my parents received a box of videos, and video games that a friend of theirs thought my sister and I may enjoy; one of these videos was an anime that looked as if it were from the late 80's. It looked somewhat like Yu Yu Hakusho, though it was clearly not. My mother took the VHS out of our VCR the moment a scene came on where the protagonist was staring at a girls panties, and my mother was upset with the perversion, (So I guess that would be the first time I thought of anime as... sexy). I first heard the term when I was five from my best friend's older sister, who was a raging Otaku, and obsessed with drawing DBZ characters. I clearly remember the moment I heard the term.

5-year-old me, "What's anime?".
Best friend's sister: "Well, it's like Pokemon, or Dragon Ball. They are cartoons that were animated in Japan, and generally look something like that", explaining it in a simple way so that a 5-year-old could understand.

So all my life I've watched, and favored anime among most of the rest. Sadly, my peers couldn't relate to me and my interests, but life is still great, and so is anime.

Hmm that was a hard question but mid 90's(or earlie 00's not so sure.) I discovered S-Cry-Ed(scryed) and became addicted. Because of kazuma's urge to get stronger the same happened to me, due to my envy of him I had become a martial artists always worked hard and even ended up here.

The first animes I watched were Pokémon and DBZ when i was between 6 and 10, but i didn't realize that it was anime until many years later. So I first really started to watch anime when i was 15 years or so.

When I was eight years old. My first ones were Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman F and Tekkaman Blade. Both of them were airing on a local spanish network. Good times, I wouldn't even go to school till I saw both of them.

Between 6-10 years old I was introduced to Toonami and watched a couple of animes on there. I later got into anime when I was 15, my freshman year in HS, and later watched many more animes like Darker than Black, Bleach, Naruto, etc.

6-10. DBZ or YuYuu Hakusho or Samurai X

It was probably somewhere between 1997 and 2000, I was less than ten years old, I cannot say for sure about the first anime I watched, but i can say for certain, that the first show that captivated me was Cardcaptor Sakura.
This was all long before I came to the US or even knew about toonami. Ah, such good memories from another generation.

I remember watching Rurouni Kenshin and other stuff on Toonami but before that I watched digimon and beyblade on fx in the morning, good times.

I voted 11-15 for when i first saw Dragonball, but now I remember seeing Ronin Warriors long before then. Man I used to love that show.

Look,you mean anime as a meaning or simply at what age i watched an anime show for the first time?,I watched DBZ and other anime series like One Piece etc when i was 8-11 years old but later on,around 15 years old,was i introduced in the anime as we all know it,back then i just thought these were some cartoons like every other

I'm not sure the exact age, but I would say around 6-10. I originally started with Pokemon, then when Toonami started airing, I watched Dragonball Z and a few others. Then it escalated to Naruto when Cartoon Network aired it.
