Do you guys pay attention to the news?

I don't usually pay much attention to the news. And I just now had a friend of mine tell me that Im going to miss out on something really important by not watching. I agree that you will sometimes learn useful information. But I never remember to watch it when it comes on. What about you guys?

No. I believe the news is useless. I can get all my news in the minute a man can spray his man juice on his wall. Anyway, I don't care about local news.

Political news... Now that's a story I won't use FOX for.

I usually get all my info from the internet anyway. Reddit will alsways be first on my bookmarks toolbar, and BBC News second.

FOX can't get anything straight, CNN misses non-political things 30% of the time.

No, at least I don't. Most news I find is about people getting killed, at least on the local news

I have BBC on my sidebar, and I read NYT and Chicago Tribune everyday.

I don't really watch too much news; although the local news is pretty self deprecating and hilarious.

I pay attention to all sorts of news on the television and net.

One has to always look at both sides before forming an opinion. One can say that Fox News is biased, but then again, what news outlet IS NOT biased out there nowadays? At least one can know more when checking out an opposing viewpoint.

It seems you guys are saying that you look at the news elsewhere, like on the internet. I don't really look at any news anywhere, not on the newspaper and not on the internet. Is that bad? Should I start paying attention to the news more. whether it be on TV or on a newspaper or on the internet.

Only if the Colbert Report counts as "news"

I just get it off the internet. Can skip threw the boring parts,while still seeing what happened in general.

Looking at news is easy, it's finding the right information since pretty much a big number of news outlets gives you big one-sided articles. So it's good to take in the info from both sides.

I just trust the news on the newspaper.

Believe it or not, whatever "news" gets covered in Fakku articles are all the news I take in properly. You guys are my go to place for current affairs. XD

Do whatever. If you want to know what's going on in the world then just buy a newspaper for £1(or equivalent) or get it from the internet for free. I find it helps banter.

The news give out useless information but I still watch it from time to time and sometimes gives out good information.

I research on the news they give out and compare it to the other reports if the information they give out is accurate or not.

I don't like getting bullshitted at so I do my own thing.

Just watch and compare, that's all there is to it.

I need to watch news from Germany more often, and see if their information is accurate, if I know they are spreading bullshit then I will protest like hell.

No. They put way too much hype on everything. Bird flu was false, I was around dead birds everyday and I didn't get any of the symptoms. And swine flu is false as I work in a grocery store and am around birds and pigs decomposing. And this whole Trevon Martin thing (didn't spell name right I think) is blown outta proportion. Let's just say the guy killed a kid and presented false evidence, while the kid tried to attack him. Everybody is frowned upon and no one would care after that.

The Onion News keeps me up to date.

I look through online articles. I don't have a working TV so I glean my worldly knowledge from the interwebz, as is per usual for my generation. [inb4 reference]

I pay a relatively moderate amount of attention to current events, I'd say. o_o

I have a TV and I rarely watch it. Main use is for video gaming. I don't really go out of my way for the news. Usually facebook statuses keep me up to date.
