Started living on my own earlier this year. Have the unique fortune of a well paying job with a 4 minute driving distance. I really lucked out with my place, because I live on the top floor in a corner apartment with evergreen trees blocking 75% of the view from outside. And yes, naked roaming feels good mang.
The downside was the building is several decades old so I've been harassed by security for supposedly "playing my TV too loud" (Legend of Galactic Heroes of all things) when it was only at 20Db. Cheap doors and fucking jarhead douchebag police officer wannabe just eyeballed me like he wished he could just arrest me on the spot and hold me for 72 hours without charges. I bet he was the guy that bullied guys like us back in school. So I was forced to buy sound proofing for my door. No problems since, but you can get harassed for some unassuming shit sometimes.
Best part is my apt is 430 a month. I scored.

With my family. Buying an apartment in my country takes at least 10 years of work.
That sounds tough. You in Europe?
