I severely twisted my ankle 6 weeks ago, and I've not been doing any aerobic exercising the last 6 weeks. tomorrow I will be cleared for running, which is really good, as I have a basketball game on friday night. I will be doing tons of running in those 2 days, probably more than I've ever done in my life.
My question is, can hurt myself from running? I love to push myself, but I usually stop when I start getting dizzy from exhaustion. I will try to push myself harder than ever, but is it possible to push myself too hard?
also, should I eat carbohydrates, protein, or both?
