Is being a compulsive buyer a guilty pleasure?

No, unless you really don't have to money to do that then it becomes a problem.

I enjoyed School Days. Not because it's a guilty pleasure, but because I like anime that don't have happy endings. Actually, I'm thinking of re-watching SD.

I guess mine would be.........................................not sure. I guess having an occasional sweet once or twice a month but that is more of a self-reward.

I somehow take pride in being cheap, my guilty pleasure is the dollar store, damn near everything in my apartment came from there, cups, plates, bowls, broom, etc.

OP watched that podcast highlight about School Days huh?

My guilty pleasure: I love trap-yaoi hentai.

Traps and drinking...no smoking

I'll change my answer to eating a quarter pounder at Mc'ds

Liking the murder scenes in Higurashi. I can watch them all day and laugh along with crazy Mion.

Using the knife execution in Manhunt 1 over and over on Skinheads. I try to be alone when I do it, but I don't care who's here; I'll slice up Ricky Bobby and his Paw in front of them.

My guilty pleasure? I guess reading H and not doing work. I am currently not sure... but reading H-manga is my current guilty pleasure!~

I love Yaoi/trap too, but I don't feel guilty about it so I can't count it.

OT: Taking pride in what I write, on forums and small stories. I try not to become full of myself but I want to have more confidence in myself, so it's a balancing act.

Sweets, I don't have dental and I have a cavity (more), I know I shouldn't. I reduced my consumption of to 2-3 a month, but hate myself when I do succumb.

Procrastination.

MMO's, I am f**king addicted to the goddamn skinner box MMO's (currently La Tale)... Mostly killed my ability to play normal games.

Sleeping, I try to sleep less, but if left undisturbed, I'll sleep a full 12 hours without waking up once... So annoying, I know alarm clock... Don't have a cell or a clock with an alarm, and no, I am so dirt poor I can not afford one, it is a luxury to me. (Internet and pc are more important!)

Masturbation, I justify it profoundly before, than condemn myself ridiculously afterwards. Most of the time (afterwards), I feel like I wasted my time doing something that doesn't help me when I could have been doing something like learning/reinforcing a skill (hypercritical of myself if I let myself be).

Oh sleeping. I hate it but can't be alive without it. If I ever have any type of alarm clock I chuck it at the wall if it rings. Usually my wife has to usually get up first to wake me up.

Internet and a PC. I agree they are more important than overpriced cell phones. I use mine every so often to ACTUALLY call someone, I this like text. Having a good PC and Internet can make you the happiest man alive.

Procrastination. High School can't say much else.

Sweets. Dentists are overpriced, 1000 bucks for simple fill in. I can so many pies with that.

Masturbation is the nature of every man/woman on this site (correct me if I am wrong.)

Certain Taylor Swift songs.

... yup.

Barry Manilow. His songs have a certain feel of cheesyness kinda like the typical, popular love songs but they also have something else that makes me like them.

It could also be feeling guilty about liking certain things that don't necessarily fall into your usual taste, and you wouldn't tell most people about it, if not anyone.

Case in point, my own post above.

Even so, why feel guilty about it?[/h]

Because objectively speaking, Swift has no real talent, her songs are generic as shit, and I'm not a fan of her kind of music.

Yet those two songs... gah!

There's no need to feel guilty about it though, because you can rationalise why you like them and not Swift.[/h]
