Not so much caught but rather forced to confess. My dad would sometimes bring his laptop home from work and one day he forgot to take it with him so I watched so much porn that day. This was back when you couldn't use the phone while on the internet so when he got home he told me he had been trying to call the house all day.
He asked me what I had searched and I obviously lied but then he told me he could go back and look at my browsing history. I panicked and he could see it on my face. He said "confess and you'll be grounded for one week, lie and you'll be grounded for a month." I confessed and when I was allowed to get back on the computer again the next week, the first thing I looked up was "how to delete your browsing history."

no one usually uses the computer so in my bookmarks theres a bunch of anime and manga, i also decided to bookmark fakku because this is when i first started using it and i didnt want to forget a sight. One day my grandma just happened to click on the fakku bookmark and it took me a one hour explanation to convince her that i used the sight to communicate with other otakus about anime. I was so embarrassed.

I had two computers in my office and one day two of my friends come over and hop on the two pc's. I go into FULL panic mode because I regularly looked at porn and both and forgot if I cover my tracks (I don't half the time). Both of them were also looking for porn which made it all that much worse. Of course one of them finds a hentai video and they both just give me that "WTF" face. Luckily it was just one hentai video and I then covered it up by showing a big stash of normal porn.

EASY FIX FOR THIS! Put the folder with all your actual pictures and change the thumbnails to like....fish or something. I use puffins but that's just me. You parents and friends will just think you like fish. Allot.

Never been caught. I don't save anything to my cpu, I just watch online, so as long as the I use incgnito in google chrome no one can catch me. I was reading some stories on 4chan the other day about how people got caught though. I must be mega lucky.

1. Password protect your folder. If they find it, it will be obvious it's porn but at least they can't see all your fucked up porn :)
2. Mark the folder as "hidden", and under folder options check off the box "Don't show hidden folders". They won't find it in a million years.
If you really want to go all out, under "Indexing Options" you can mark that folder so when they search for something in the search bar, nothing in that folder will come up under searching
