I've tried to date two other guys that I met on a dating site. One kept flaking on me every time we would set a date to meet and go out, and the other guy I'm currently talking to and has yet to agree on meeting.

i found a girl online that i liked and so we started to talk and seemed to have similar intrests but then we met each other in person and it all feel apart from there. Now i have changed my focus and have been happier ever since

It was a weird time when it happened really. We both got out of relationships, she got out of one that was online and I got out of one that was a real life one (which I am glad it ended cause she was a clingy whore). And we were already online friends and it kinda just happened. Well after a couple weeks we drifted apart, she left the site and I moved on with my life.

I see a lot of these replies are saying that long distance relationships don't work, there is no such thing as love, or there are no girls on the internet. If you're a girl and you are on the internet, I doubt you are the only one. If the relationship didn't work out, I'm sorry to hear that :/ sometimes relationships don't work, wether there was distance between two people or not doesn't mean the relationship would've worked out any better. There is a such thing as love, maybe love just isn't for you or you've given up..I'm also sorry to hear that. So..girls are on the internet, love exists for some, and long-distance relationships can work.

Yeah, it lasted about a year before the distance became too much and our true personalities started conflicting. But currently, I have a friend that's very dear to me with little possibility of advancement, but just being close to her makes me happy.

Well, I do have more female friends on the internet than IRL, but they are amazing people and I am glad just to know them. Actually, due to school I haven't been able to talk with them for awhile, I should get on that.
But back to the topic at hand, no I have never been in a romantic relationship with someone I've met online, obviously the thought has crossed my mind, but I've never tried to make anything happen (I'm terrible with relationships, so it's better this way :D ).
