For the most part, I download it. Good things in life are free or so they say, But when it becomes available in my place -- my wallet is always ready to serve.

Stream it, cause it's easier to watch IMO. Would buy it if: I could afford and/or it was sold around where I live.

I always DL -- I used to stream, and then I discovered torrenting.
Never looked back.

On the other hand, I only keep the anime I like -- which, so far, include Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tail, and at least 10 series from BakaBT I haven't even watched yet.
I download a lot.
At least 2 TB of anime so far.

My way of doing things is this : Download it, watch it, and if I like it and it's been released in the US, then I buy it.
Unless a series is over 50 episodes long, which at that point I'll stream it.
I try to have a method for my madness.

Its complicated
For hentai, I need it download it or be able to buy it online

For non-hentai anime
If the dvd is available and I like the series(Bleach,Naruto,Ranma,Soul Eater, etc) I will buy box sets when I can

If the dvd is available but expensive as hell(Parappa) or dont have a dvd set I know of, I download

I mainly torrent. I have a massive external, so space is never an issue, and since I watch shows as they come out, it only takes a couple of minutes to download an episode. I used to stream until I found a good torrenting site. I also own a decent amount of DVDs, but that's for after I've watched them.

I like to stream. Don't really care about the quality and it's faster to get through the anime I believe.

I have a huge library of anime on DVD/Blu-ray. Now, if only somebody made a player that didn't wear out so damned quick. Most of the DVD/Blu-ray players I get only last a year to three years, then POOF they crap out from all the wear and tear.

I prefer to watch something before I buy it, and then once I do all my money happens to disappear... and magically dvd's appear in my collection. I think I am visited by the anime fairly periodically or something. Only exception is PSG, I saw one episode and bought it lol

I'll download it, and if I REALLY like it, I'll buy it locally (If possible) to support the people who made it.
Picture in op is pretty much how I roll. Two screens, one tower, shirtless with pants on

For me I stream because buying a dvd is too expensive and some animes are WAY to big to download!!!

That setup is a dream of mine along with a bookshelf full of manga and a external 5TB hardrive full of hentia with a big caution lable on it.
As of now, I have one 500 dollar discount computer a 150 dollar hardrive i got from my uncle (500GB) and about a 8 manga collection and 40GB of hentia so its only a matter of time.
Oh, to answer the question I stream my manga, hentia and anime!

A little of all of it... I own a few shows on DVD, download some, and watch others on the internet because I don't feel they're worth keeping.

I love stocking up on DVD's and Bluray! My computer kind of sucks and I am a total whore for special features and commentary. I also like being able to trade them with my friends, I can share my favorite series with people who will appreciate it. When my shelf gets too crowded I give some of them away to my friends who can't afford to buy them. Call me "old fashioned" if you will, but I firmly believe that nothing beats a physical copy of anime of manga. There's just something about having real books, movies, and music that can't be replicated in a digital copy.

I would download it because i can watch it anytime when i'm free . If there are any anime that i can't download i would go buy it. If the anime are so great i would really buy it especially Yuri. ❤ (´▽`)

Cage The great and powerful
I used to stream my anime before I discovered downloading. Now I download new series that have the genres I like and stream the older ones. And if I like the series enough I'll buy a physical copy as soon as I have the money.

I bought a few DVD's but most I watch on toonami or on a anime website.

Streaming is my main source of anime, although I always make sure to buy a hard copy of my favorite animes.

I download it mainly, I'll every now and then stream or buy the DVD of it.
