I just customized mine >.>
It's easier, and plus I got some good coupons from HP's website.
Specs:
HP Envy DV7t-7200 17" 1900x1080 display
8GB DDR3 RAM
Intel i5-3210M @ 2.5 GHz (No OC, are you crazy?)
1 TB HDD
Intel HD Graphics (Ew, I know)
Blu-Ray Disk Drive
Windows 8 (Works surprisingly well on this thing)

I consider this to be quite good for a laptop. I only paid about $800 for it. I love this thing to death, and it just feels nice to use. The again, going from an ancient desktop with 512 MB of RAM, ~100GB HDD, and a 1.2GHz processor, this laptop feels incredible.

My neighbor gave it to me.

The only computer I have that works is the laptop I use, an HP Pavilion dv7-6135dx. The only upgrades I've done to it are adding a second 750 gigabyte hard drive and upgrading the OS from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 8 Pro.

Specs on it:

8GB of RAM
i5 2410M @ 2.30GHZ
2 actual 4 logical
AMD Radeon HD 6490M
17" close to but not quite 1080p screen
2 750 GB 5400 RPM internal hard drives

After getting tired of using laptops all the time because they kept dying on me after two years (usually because they overheated and/or some hardware broke down and couldn't be replaced), I decided to get myself a custom-built desktop computer from CyberPower PC. They did a pretty good job at making it, and I plan on upgrading it myself in the future when needed. As a matter of fact, when I get the money I'll most likely start replacing my case fans with 120mm Noctuas and my rad's fans with some other silent 120mm fans in a push-pull configuration that have good static pressure (I'm not sure what I should get though).

My specs are:

-Gigabyte UD3H motherboard.
-i5 3570K with Turbo Boost OC'd to 4.2GHz
-HIS IceQ X2 Radeon HD7970 GPU.
-4x2 8GB Ripjaws X memory.
-OCZ 256GB SSD.
-1TB HDD.
-H60 watercooling.
-Corsair 850TX PSU.
-Rosewill Blackhawk Mid Tower Gaming Case.

I bought a Dell Inspiron 14.
I wish I had about $800 and I'd buy my own custom laptop.
I can't build a laptop or a computer myself, I'll surely mess up.
How do you even build one? It must be very complicated.

I don't have a computer. Hell, I don't even go on the Internet. What the Hell is a computer?

I changed graphic card, that's all.

To my great shame I own a laptop, and only a laptop. A Samsung RF511, running Windows 7 on an Intel i-5 2450m @ 2.6GHz with a boost to 3.1GHz, 8GM RAM... no dedicated graphics card ;-;
She is flawed, but I love her so ><"

I have a laptop and it was pre-maded of course. I use to build PCs but when I started college I needed a laptop to do hw around school. It's a HP Pavilion dv6 with a A8 Vision AMD and Quad Core Processor with 6GB of Memory running on Windows 7. I'm happy with it as it runs most of my stuff I need.

You mean you can actually build your own computer?
God, I am stuck here using telekinesis to communicate with Fakkuzans

Bought an old dual core CPU for 30$ and then upgraded it. It's pretty old, but gets the job done.
