How'd you get your nickname?

my Nick Name on both IRL and Online are "Kap" shorter for kapsol, friends put me "kapsul" for often i use to be sick but when i created an acount for a game to play with them i miss typed and put "Kapsol" on my Character name back in 2007, them everyone started called me kapsol them just KAP

The origins of "Stratomeister" are kind of uneventful, basically it just came about when I was on chatroulette with one of my friends, and when the person he was talking to asked what my name was he replied, "This is my main man Stratomeister." I can imagine what was going through his head at the time was something along the lines of "what is the dumbest thing I can think of at the moment that this idiot might actually believe." Oh well, I kinda like it, and stuck with it.

I also earned a new nickname tonight whilst bowling with a few of my friends. Apparently they really liked staring at my ass when I threw the ball, and I came back to see that my name on the board had been changed to "Sweetbuns". Eh, I'm not going to complain about it.

Well, one of my older nicknames is "the evil guy". You would think it would have a cool back-story or something, but it was just what one of my old buddies called me whenever i trolled him hard. He was such a dumbass that it was hard to resist (his reactions where hilarious too), and i wasn't the only one who teased him, i was just the most skilled at it X3.

Every time i pulled of a successful prank, he would get pissed, then start laughing and start saying, "you are a very evil guy you know". And since this was almost a daily thing it just kind of stuck to me..

I had a nickname that was given to me by my father when I was a baby. It wasn't until I was two that I realized it was a nickname and not my real name.

All that time and I thought my name was "Shut Up."

OT: I had a very strange nickname that never really was sourced, it was just there. The name, Binky, had many theories of its history, but two were the most prominent ones
1. Derived from my Cantonese name
2. I used to suck my pinky a lot as a baby (I don't remember this) and my cousin couldn't say pinky properly.

"Trip" is the only nickname that people still call me regularly, which is where my username comes from.

I've always been a bigger guy and because of that, my cousin started calling me "Double Stack" back in middle school, being a play on Wendy's $1 hamburger of the same name.

That got shortened to "DubStack" and just "Dub" and years later, he eventually got one of his high school teachers calling me that as well. Two years following that, I had her as a teacher myself! Upon seeing us at the beginning of the year, she mentioned that I 'downgraded' to a single stack because I had lost some weight since I last saw her and my cousin jokingly responded by saying that I upgraded to a "Triple Stack" instead.

That, in turn, eventually got shortened to just "TripStack" and "Trip" and that stuck around. I eventually added in the "Mr" myself back when registering for a site that already had TripStack taken and I ended up liking that a lot more. It's been about five years since then and I still actively use MrTripStack (and other similar titles if that's taken; TrippyStack and SirStack being my main alternatives) as my online alias and my cousin and a few close friends call me Trip to this day.
