I don't know why people bother making this case.
Many farms would go under without the cheap, paid-under-the-table, illegal workers. If anything, immigrants [in my limited knowledge of them] typically replace people when the company can't afford to hire a legal citizen anyway, so they don't "steal" anything.

if you're going to have an immigration policy either enforce it or change it. Don't just save it for when you need to look like you're doing something. I refuse to be distracted.
On the other hand, this could teach people to do jobs that need to be done regardless of how you feel. I am an American that is disgusted by the snobbyness of my countrymen.
