Plus, I think most of you guys who say that you prefer girls with no makeup really mean minimal. It's likely you've never seen a girl without makeup(I've only seen myself, my mother, and my boyfriend's mother), and only like 1/10 girls actually look GOOD when they're not wearing any at all.

Nope, I really mean no make-up at all. And I find it frightening that all girls there use make-up.
Then you like date a girl, and find out she doesn't look the way you thought she did. That is so not cool bro.

I also have to disagree with "only like 1/10 girls actually look GOOD when they're not wearing any at all". They're not that rare.

The problem is that many girls don't realize it's supposed to enhance your natural beauty, not completely change the way you look. Either way, the 1/10 comment is me speaking from experience. I've seen many girls in that 'morning' state(yay 8 person sleepovers) with most of their makeup off, and it's not always pretty. There's a few girls who are lucky enough to be blessed with perfect skin and they don't need makeup at all, but most of us aren't in that minority. I like to think I'm fairly attractive(or at least average) when I've got my very light makeup on, but without it, again, I look like I'm sickly and dying.

Moderation is key. A little eyeliner, blush and lipstick never hurt anyone. I can honestly say that I would NOT prefer au naturale. Very, very few girls have skin that they would not mind being seen without make up.

As I've said. It's all about moderation. Make-up is very useful as it can enhance girls natural beauty.

make up is not important for me as long as her face is clean (no acnes, etc)

It depends on the girl. If a girl has that whole emo thing going, I prefer a lot. It gives them this shocking, dramatic look that i find really sexy. If its a preppy chic however, I only like some light lip gloss and (maybe) a little eyeliner. Also, I think blondes look REALLY good with dark eyeliner, but for some reason i think it looks bad on girls with brown hair.

And if a girl I know has makeup that looks bad, i will tell her. But dont just say "You look like a fucking clown! Do you not own a mirror?" or you might end up dead. Just say something like "Youre lipsticks a little smudged" then offer advice on how to fix it. Chances are, shes gonna thank you.

I forgot the other 2 points in youre question, so i guess thats it :)

I like wearing makeup. I don't wear so much that I look like a moron, but I wear enough to make a difference e.g. different eyeliners, mascara, blush, some eyeshadow. I didn't expect so many guys to hate girls wearing makeup. Or maybe you guys just hate the "cake-face" look when girls put on so much foundation that it covers their entire face and just looks weird. =/

I can vouch, she does it well.

'tis true. I am a horrendous mess without my artificial beauty enhancement products.

Likewise. I look like a fucking cancer patient, it's not pretty. I take off my makeup right before bed and get up before my boyfriend does, because he would probably dump me if he saw my face without basic makeup.

:| I think I'm the only girl on Fakku who doesn't wear makeup.

Not too much... the problem with most girls who wear it think more is better. I won't usually leave the house without makeup, but it takes me 10 minutes to do mine and it doesn't really look like I'm wearing it. Naw. Over the course of my career I've seen more women without make-up than I can count. When I say "no make-up", I mean "no make-up".

gibbous, what do you do? so we can have an idea what sorts of women you encounter

Medical imaging, MRI. Before moving to MRI, I used to work trauma duty for a few years, that is to say x-ray and CT/traumatom scans for emergency patients.
You basically get all ages and backgrounds. No make-up allowed beyond the clean doors.

Gibbous, after thinking about it for a moment, I might have asked the wrong question. Regardless, thats interesting to know and yes you will definitely see a lot of them without makeup if this is the case, so its safe to assume your opinion is made with sufficient information.

sorry, just came from a half day meeting so my head is still in a certain mode

Gibbous, if you dont mind me asking, why leave trauma?

Jules, I think you worry too much about makeup. The fact that you'd even compare yourself to a cancer patient, simply from not wearing makeup is pretty gross.

And your boyfriend leaving you if you don't wake up before him and 'put your face on'? I doubt he even cares that much.

:| I could say a lot of things, but honestly - you've never seen other women without makeup? Where do you live? High fashion broadway?

Well I was exaggerating a little. P: I just have huge dark circles under my eyes because I have rather translucent skin and I don't sleep. And he really doesn't, I just often feel unattractive without any makeup on. I actually started wearing makeup pretty late compared to my other friends(I started in 9th grade). The point I have to make clear is that I don't wear it for other people-- to avoid being judged, to make my boyfriend happy, so other people see me as attractive, etc., but so that I can feel my best when I go out, no matter where it is. Some days I think I look just fine without makeup, but I always look better with a little bit.

Maybe if I lived in a small town I'd see more girls without makeup, but I do live in a fairly big city. I don't take much notice of other women, and the places I frequent most are near a high school, so it's not often I take notice of them not wearing any. Generally makeup is done so naturally it's hard to tell anyway.

I primarily see working women, I rarely see kids or teenagers so I wouldnt know about that but I rarely see anyone who doesnt wear makeup, if any. I mean even the cashier at ralphs wears makeup or the toilet crew here in the office.

Jules, what do you use for dark circles?

I find most women dont really know how to put makeup on themselves. They look damned horrible with it.

I dont know, even those who seem to know how to do it without a mess of themselves seem to look prettier without...

Again, maybe you just assume everyone wears makeup. Because I certainly know I'm not some rare person out there who doesn't wear makeup.
