Higufuuindo The Enlightened
Gotta love Finnish surnames, they are usually so damn literal without deep meanings.

Mine is "boreal forest ditch".

For japanese names, don't your have to look at the kanji used to get a gist of what it means anyways?

Try putting your first/last name into this: http://www.babynology.com/

If you have a clue on the "ethnicity" of your name (and you really should) try looking for it to narrow the searches. Note that "ethnicity" in this context includes religious meanings, like Biblical and Buddhist.

Wikipedia is also quite good, but often lacks entries on names that aren't common Hebrew/Roman/Germanic.

well i couldn't find my exact name, only something similar which is Eraldo but my name is without the "o" so that's not correct.
about the ethnicity - i don't really know the origin of the name but i can say for sure that it's not an uncommon name in Albania so i guess that's the origin(?)- i don't know any religious meanings of it so i guess that it doesn't derive from a religion...
i'm searching google now with added keywords "albanian names"- thanks to your idea :)

Your name just might be a variation of another name, so don't rule the close ones out.

My first name (of Hebrew origin) literally means "The Gift/Gifted by God".

Surname doesn't really have any meaning, but it's apparently Franco/Frankish in origin.
And if we want a complete set then there's my second name, which in Latin means literally "The Greatest Man".

Say what you want about religious countries/societies, but some of their naming conventions are awesome.

following your advice this is what it means
i also thought about it that way since the name Herald is VERY similar to Erald and it might have come from it but still that "H" is in the way.
