Definitely the metalhead look, I do enjoy looking nice and approachable, but most of my life I've worn the metalhead clothes. I suppose that one feels more natural.

But yeah my work is actually a really quaint small town music store and I don't want to scare away the parents. Parents equal business which in turn equals money which I live off of and use to buy more music gear for when I play shows. Most of the time I'm not even teaching metal, I'm teaching theory and fundamentals, and then whatever the student themselves wants to learn.

Most of my wardrobe consists of skull shirts but not because I'm a goth or a metalhead, I just happen to think that skulls look awesome. It's great that you teach kids to play music. When I was younger and still in Russia, I went to a music school for four years and learned to play the piano, sing and compose. The way I was taught music was a little bit different though. They made me play musical pieces from a music book which was really boring and uninteresting. If I was allowed to play familiar songs, I would have stuck with it longer.

As a side note, I'm starting a tutoring job at a highschool in less than two weeks. Any tips on how to conduct myself with the kids?

Well, first and foremost, the important thing is understanding when and how to get down to their level. Kids often hate feeling patronized by an authoritative figure, especially when you're a teacher or instructor. Don't ever let them think you're not confident in their abilities, though don't let them get away with slacking off either if you can tell they're not putting in any effort. They'll thank you for it later.

Also it's important to keep a strong sense of humor, when you work with kids you're going to laugh more. Kids are just honest little assholes sometimes @_@ hahaha.

Your tips are greatly appreciated. I will keep them in mind when the high school kids ask me why I look younger than them. You should definitely do the pantsu thing, otherwise a whole mess of guys will moan in disappointment in unison.

On Thursdays is my long school day. I start classes at 8am and last class ends at 9:20. So I'm writing this during my 3 hour break between class two and three. If I don't keel over by the time they let us out, I'll take a pantsu pic as well
