I recently bought a tank of gasoline for the lowest price in my area in a year. And also a pack of Newport 100's, so I can die of cancer that much quicker.

Today's haul from AnimeNext convention! Didn't see any Fakkuza (or if there were any, no one said hi lol) but still quite a lot of fun. Took my friend who'd never been to a con before: needless to say his eyes were opened lol.

Got a beautiful figure of mah husbandu, Mr. Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (Wild Tiger) from Tiger and Bunny. So happy lol, even though it was a splurge for the day, had not found it anywhere else! :)

I found this really nice cardboard box in the attic and suddenly felt an urge to crawl into it. Kinda dusty but I feel at peace. It almost feels like it's my destiny to be in that cardboard box.

I bought it from the people from Tokyobookstore but they only had one copy. They knew I liked Tony Taka so they told me they had it when I went to London MCM Expo and I bought it from them over PayPal and they delivered it to my door the same day. I've been keeping in touch with them a bit via Twitter and e-mail and one of the members is going to Comiket in a few weeks and is taking requests to buy things - I have requested 3 Nise Midi Doronokai doujinshi and another Tony Taka doujinshi, if they can find it. You could e-mail them and discuss if they could try and find a copy.

J-List were selling it but it sold out a week or so ago.

I'm not a huge fan of anime conventions. Grrghhh.

I got this within less than 10 minutes of waking up on 6/27, the day it came out. Needless to say, I was ecstatic. It even came with the music sheet to play one of the songs and Muryoku -P (one of the artists) himself teaches you how to play it on the guitar. Sadly, there are no subs. It is worth the month long wait and $50
