Recent Purchases and Good Finds Thread

I know this doesn't could as a purchase... but my friend is back from Japan, after teaching for a few years. He got me this:

I might be buying something later today though, and I did get an AmiAmi order or two recently, but all you need to know about that is that it was nothing but Love Live merchandise and figure xD

....I still want to see some of that Love Live rep. :} Post ittt.

My Haruka Amami Cu-poche arrived the other day! I stopped being lazy and uploaded the different pictures I took of her. I honestly thought my posable figure days were over (yeah you figma) but she's cute AF.

First time ordering from Amazon Japan. Going to use them for BDs and art-books from now on.

Not quite a Good Find nor a purchase, but My favourite library got a book for me:

Litchi Hikari Club (aka. Lychee Hikari Club)


Sadly since I was in an hospital for the week end I couldn't buy the book in time for the store to close for vacations.
I'll have to wait for two weeks to get the book.

I'd say it could count as a good find since that manga is released by an indie publisher.

For another recent purchase, I got my hand on a complete serie: Gyo by Junji Itoh

I love Junji Itoh's works and Gyo is actually the second serie of him that I have ever read (in scanlation at the time, the first was Remina)

And yeah I got Uzumaki which was really entertaining.

Alright, finally got around to taking pictures of some of the figures I recently got/received in the mail.

This was the only figure I actually bought at Anime Expo.

I bought these after Anime Expo from the local anime shop that wasn't able to have a booth there.

Finally I have started my collection. Only five more ridiculously over-priced albums left. I had forgotten how good my walkman sounded.

my Nepgear pillow arrived.


Now I have to get an actually pillow for it to put it on.

Purchased a decent-sized suitcase from the thrift shop for $12 bucks. I am traveling next month and need some luggage, however would like to avoid paying $75 dollars for a similar item.

So yeah, $12 Samsonite jet black large luggage on wheels. Not bad... not bad...

I should of had Akiba's trip in my hand already. Fucking xseed push back... hopefully by monday or i have to order online.

It's rather hard to find this book as it is very limited (at least the french version).
It's also uncensored.

I arranged to preorder a collectors edition of the Resident Evil REmake port for ps3. Import since they aren't scheduled to have a physical release outside of Japan. If they do however release an english physical copy eventually, I'll buy it too
