Spoiler:
I came across a really disturbing scene while buying lunch today, I watched an ugly bald teenage idiot grope his almost equally unattractive girlfriend's boob while on the escalator. My immediate desired action was to punch his lights out.

I'd like to ask the readers, where do you draw the line of showing affection in public?
Hugs? Kisses? Petting? Groping? Getting it on?

I'd also like to ask, how do you react or wish to react when people cross that line in front of your face?
Do you also feel the urge to punch someone's lights out for hurting your eyes?
Or do you do much worse?

Discuss.

As he strut the streets at lunch this very noon, the poet met a wretched sight. A hideous young fool placed his hand on a nigh equally hideous young girl where it shouldn't belong and fondled playfully. The shameless act stirred great rage within the poet and the urge to destroy those children was born.

The poet extends his thoughts to the readers and demands opinions in return.
Where does each fellow mortal draw the line in demonstration of affection in public?
To what extent is taken until thine eyes see red?

Does thou also seek a course of violence like mine course?
The poet must know.

So speaketh the poet.

Now am I the only one that reads the second part in a way higher pitch, a much more english sounding accent and slower, than the first part?

OT. I don't actually care what they do. As long as they don't cause me problems. Depending on the degree of the problem I decide on the degree of punishment.

I'd whip my dick out in front of them and ask if I can join in the fun.

I think you should mind your own damn business. unless theyre getting naked or having sex, who cares? and even then, it would only bother me if there were little kids around who could see.

why do people think they have the right to go around impossing their views or morality on others? get a fucking life.

Agreed.

Short of government regulation (which I'm not going into) it isn't anyone's business if some people are showing affection in public.

I hate it when morality gets in the way. Who gets decide where the line is drawn? Kissing on the cheek in public is okay, right? What about on the lips? Petting? Groping? You can draw the line for yourself, that is your prerogative, but do expect everyone else to agree with your terms.

Short of it becoming a public disturbance due to location and/or children, it is better to just ignore it if it displeases you.

I agree with these two. It may turn my stomach if they're ugly or homosexuals, but what can I do?

Making out in public is so trashy. I would be all up in their faces taking pictures. If they don't mind being seen like that in public, then I'll treat them like a tourist attraction.

You took the words out of my mouth.

I've shown public affection and still do. Hell, I always will! But nothing beyond kissing and hugging. Anything beyond that is for the bedroom as far as I'm concerned.
But yeah, I'm not ashamed to show the girl how much I like her. It isn't like I'm thinking "Oh I'm gonna make out with her in public to make people feel uncomfortable!" No, I do it because I feel compelled to and when you're with the right person, it really feels like they're the only person there <3

One time I kissed my (then) GF when I picked her up from her school. And this old, ugly dean gave us shit for it. We weren't making out or using tongues, it was just two kisses and this bitter old piece of shit had to come up to us and make her feel guilty for something that's natural.

People just need to mind their own business.

I'm too busy to notice someone for longer than five seconds, so I really don't care what they're doing.
0
I wouldn't particularly care and neither do I see the need to care that much.

Hmm it seems that most people tend to pretend not to see.

Well, its too early to make a conclusion, I'll wait longer and see.

Thanks for your opinions.

I just ignore em. Whether it be kissing, tongue banging, groping, etc. Although the latter(did I use this word correctly? >.>) seems to be more public inappropriate, but I could give a shit.

I get envious, then try and just ignore it as best I can.
Nothing wrong with it.

If they're mackin' it in public I just ignore it. I wouldn't do it, but that's just me. :>

Keep it to kissing or hugging in public, not both and not more.

I had a friend whose bf would pretty much make out with her while she was trying to eat lunch in the cafeteria. Don't be that guy. It was gross, uncalled for, and made everyone uncomfortable.

A small kiss on the mouth, cheek or a hug is fine, but keep it simple and quick.
