I didn't know there was such a thing until I was 18 so I've never had a sun burn just a rope burn

I freckle, then burn. it takes about three hours for a noticable burn to start.

i was at a dog show a few months ago and i was only out in the sun for a few hours. i had long sleeves, but the backs of my hands and ears got burned just enough to itch and be uncomfortable for the next few days.

My blackness protects me from the sun so no sun burns yet.

Never go any sunburn, never put such thing as sunscreen.
I have skin tougher than rhino's hide.

Dude, we're Indos lol.

I never wear sunscreen too UNLESS I go on a holiday to a hot as places and knowing I'd spend my time mostly on beaches and pools.

I rarely get sunburn

most of the time my complexion just gets darker.

I seldom use sunscreen, because of the weather where I live, and also the circumstances. I don't go out as much as I used to.

Not at all. i got burned so bad last summer i was lucky it didnt blister. I need layers of sunscreen, but its not quite bursting into flames in light.

I just get tanned if I'm outside for a long amount of time, although I look a bit tanned usually.

My family rarely goes to the beach, so I don't know how is my sunburn resistance right now.

I'm canadian eh , so when the snowing clouds leave and let the sun shine i obviously need some sunscreen :)

Kinky.

OT: I've only had one sunburn in my life, and that was my entire back (literally) from a long day at the beach when I was in 1st grade. Now, I have become part black, because the back of my neck has been roasted from to much beach time. Now, I'm a bit rather tan, but I don't tan anymore or burn anymore regardless of using sunblock or not. I've developed an immunity to the sun. I actually want to lighten my skin (mainly my arms since they're a bit tanned from long car rides) a little bit.

Generally you use sunblock and if you are burned aloe vera gel helps.

I also heard citrus in the summer is good for the skin

I never burn. I just tan, sometimes very dark, but I've never burned. Dunno. My mother, father, sisters all burn but I can't. Felt good on family vacations.

I'm average resistance. First really sunny day of the summer/spring I burn a bit because I'm kinda pasty from the darkness of winter. As summer progresses and I have a constant tan, I don't really burn anymore. Though after being outside at work all day for an excessively sunny day, the back of my neck literally turns brown like a leather color.

I get sunburnt pretty easily and my skin falls off.
That's why I have trouble getting a nyce tan, even if I get it it'll only last a week /:

this ^ applies to me (I was looking and thinking of the right words on how to say it). It's not that I never burn, but... I get sunburns also, rarely. when all of my relatives get severe sunburn I only get minimal. happened only about 2-3 times,(if my memory serves me right) while they get sunburnt almost every vacation.

I've had sun burn a few times as a kid, quite badly. So now I tend to use a good quality sun lotion.

I'm a redhead, so I will always burn quickly and easily. Hmm, that means I'm weak vs Fire... so I get some kind of Ice or Water resistance, right? Isn't that how these things work?

Kind of Important A ray of Tsunlight.
I've had a minor sunburn literally one time in my life. On the back of my neck when I went golfing on a 97F day.

Other than that, no. I have a hodgepodge of various Native American in me, the majority being Aleutian Indian (kind of like a lesser known Eskimo) which gives me rather dark skin if I allow it to tan, and also allows me to not care about direct sunlight.

Ohohohoho... I burn. Very Irish skin.

I pile on the highest SPF I can. Technically, SPF only really "works" up to 60, btw. So just to all my pale compatriots, don't get duped into buying any higher.
