I wasn't really saddened to see Merle die or Daryl cry over the loss. I just thought, hey, what a good way to go out...go for you Merle.

I'm not so sure on the baby dying so soon (if at all) in this series. The fact that the show's been going on a tangent from the comics with who's dead and who's still alive makes the source material for the show somewhat invalid as a detailed reference for what's going to happen.

true, but I'd still place a bet that the baby will die or at least be taken from rick. I assume beth will also die in the finale.

If the baby dies, Carol or Beth will die with them because they are the only two who are always with her. Also assuming something is going to go down with Glenn and Maggie.

Didn't someone give a number of how many main characters are going to die in the finale?

Sorrowful life

[spoil]There goes one of my favorite characters in the show. Honestly, he really shined in this episode. From his talk with Daryl in the prison on how he felt the group looked at him. How he knew for a fact that Rick didn't have it in him to sacrifice a life. How he took it upon himself to "save" the group by bringing Michone to the governor. And most important of them all, the car ride. Hearing his story made me see that from Chaotic evil, he was just someone who was just trying to survive and then ultimately become a man with a sense of good.

My eyes bawled when Daryl saw is brother has turned.[spoil]

Favorite episode so far.

Fucking Cliffhanger.

Spoiler:
It was set up to be so good and then if just went downhill, the best part was Andrea dying and Carl killing that kid. Everything else was just lame. I wanted the gov dead so we could move on, but nooo, he is now trolling around somewhere.

And that ending with the sunset and crosses.

This finale was mediocre.

Premiere was a little weak but they had to build up I am assuming. I figured that the water is polluted from so many of the dead being killed and thrown to the side. The entire scavenging the store scene made me laugh; the hanging zombies were a hoot. Other than that not much else happened to be interesting enough.


I hope this season is better than the last 2.

Since I finally have a day free to lurk let's talk about the episodes so far.

Spoiler:
I'm really excited to see more of Tys character and the fact that they are giving him more character relationships aside from his sister is great. Michonne and her background about her babies was subtle and I loved it I hope that they talk more about it in later episodes. I figured that either Maggie or Glenn would get sick and die, but I didn't want it to happen this soon. When I went to San Antonio Comic Con they were being so stealthy about questions like those it was frustrating damn contracts.

Now that Rick is getting his backbone back I hope he turns hardass again and starts ordering people around like he did before.

Lastly I am so glad that Carol is gone, I didn't like her at all so at least that was consistent in the comic and show, but seriously I wonder how this will affect the broship of Daryl and Rick?


Now this season has fully captured my attention.

the governor
at the end of the episode. The next episode seems to be focusing on him judging by the extra clip shown at the after show. Lizzie also freaks me out, that girl ain't right. I'm thinking she's going to become twisted and Carl is going to have to shoot her in the head or something.




After show: Adam had a good idea, I like the pit idea. They had enough time to dig ditches probably?

Bravo to the writers of the walking dead. They made the governor look human this episode. He went out of his way to go and do favors for them, even before talking to the little girl. I hope the sisters didn't get mauled by that mob either. Also, I didn't think Hernandez and the other guy would ever leave the governor. Guess I was wrong. It made for a more dramatic reunion in any case. And this doesn't explain why the governor showed up outside the prison. Maybe next week we'll get more on his story.

HERSHEL, LIL ASSKICKER. DARYL WALKER CUT SCENE. I hate this show I really cant do this. I was hoping that Carl would be the one that killed Gov. This episode went 15 to 9800 feels in only an hour. Jesus.

I thought it was crazy! The gov got what was coming to him which was a Katana right through his back. As for everything else it was drama thrown into overdrive with heavy amounts of gore.

Seriously! I was expecting it to go down completely differently, I was expecting Carol to be a traitor and be on the Gov side, and the Gov kills the mom to take the little girl, and damn - I thought they were going to keep him alive for the rest of the season, they sure caught me by surprise.

I did think the Hershel head scene was used for gore factor though, that hit me right in the feelings.
