To lie or to not lie about not having had a girlfriend

Why would you lie about it? If they are your friends shouldn't you be able to tell them honestly that you don't have a girlfriend?

If they judge you, then you should reconsider if they really are your friends. If they want to help you find someone, then you can always accept and decline nicely. I'm sure they will understand. If not then try to make them understand.
