It's pop here in Ohio. Also, there have been surveys about this.

this map. Been all over the midwest and everywhere I've been everyone says pop, but when I went to St. Louis NO ONE did. So odd.

Kinda forgot what they were called until I saw the vote. Pretty sure most (or at least I do) call them soft drink here.

Still say anyone calling it pop is weird and back home in sheep filled hills of the Pyrenees I never heard anyone ever not call it soda. Even when they moved to Arkansas and the tristate areas of Oklahoma and Missouri no one calls it pop. Not even coke. Mississippi bama Georgia sure I heard it as coke. Which was fun to order a Pepsi.

Even I was in Japan they said Sofutodorinku but knowing diet Pepsi in asia taste like dog shit with soap I drunk coke lite.

Had Pepsi yuzu zero a year ago. That was good

(I drunk diet years before I got the beetus. Mom raised us on it since she wouldnt buy regular. Normal sugar soda tastes weird and the real sugar one still doesn't taste right.)

It's called Soda where I'm from and the country where my parents are from. Except there, you don't get it in a can. You get it from the mobile neighborhood vendor guy who sold it in a plastic bag (literally, it's just soda in a sandwich bag). That way, vendor guy could sell the glass bottles the soda was previously in. Haven't been back in more than a decade though, so maybe stuff changed.

Yeah it's regional. We call it soda here though.

Where I live it doesn't have a name. It's just like "Pepsi in a can" or "can of any drink" but in my language.
0
in Texas it's Coke, trying to say anything else unless you are asking for a specific brand makes me cringe

Soda, but I've heard many other ways to refer to it but it's not completely confusing to translate
