Gahdyum!! That's just crazy lol.
I KNOW!
obviously fake... aust's max is like 10mb/s atm... maybe even 24 if you're lucky...
Well we can argue that its fake since most will give 100 Mbps ad TESTRA is a reseller of services which are provided by BigPond which offers MAX 100 MBps, O and here is something else
http://www.netindex.com/download/2,18/Australia/
Telstra Internet.. 10.84 Mbps hmm thats quite off 4xx Mbps, not to mention physical limitations on PC's :) guess somebody forgot max is 100 Mbps. Servers can handle beyond 100 Mbps.
O and something from tech classes:
What you are seing is the maximum speed from your router to your computer. Not from your ISP to you. for example my ISP offers 24Mbps CABLE so my INTERNET connection to them is 3-5mbps or less but the connection between my router and my computer shows 100mbps this just means that the connection between the 2 devices could reach 100mbps not that my actual internet connection is 100mpbs
Also note this: http://asia.cnet.com/broadband-speedtest//Internet-Speed-Test-Broadband-Speed-Test-CNET-Asia/results.htm
Unless your company is able to pay 2500-4000/mon for T3 Enterprise grade FIBER Optic connection but this kind of speeds will never be reachable for us :)
Ahe, enough of me disproving people, time to post my own crap :)
Hehehe Rogers ;)
P.S. The image on the bottom clearly shows how to fake results, by just downloading Speedtest Mini and setting it up on LOCALHOST running PHP or ASP or JSP and whola you get some godly speed of 2xx MBps which is actually the disk speed not the ISP speed, the top one is legit truth :)
