It was a tough call, but I had to go with horror. Fantasy was close for a second, but you just can't beat a good horror story. The only problem with them is that they are usually only good the first time you see them. After that they lose their draw. But still, I will drop any other type of story for a good horror one in a second if it looks or sounds good.

Besides horror sound like whore and who doesn't love whores?

I never noticed how I liked romance manga's (video girl ai, I"s, ichigo 100%) until I actually thought about it, I guess I was in denial, mostly because I'm a guy (lol).
Romance manga's with a touch of nostalgia to it are my favorite I suppose

My favorite is the post-apocalypse/doomsday genre.

I love alot of different styles. Among those are comedy and thriller, suspense and such...but honestly, nothing beats a very good horror movie. I also loves cult horrors, but aside from star trek and star wars, sci fi is my least favorite.

Sci-fi. Steins Gate ftw!

You can never have too much Romance! Though I prefer if Romance is a sideplot to another genre in an overall anime.

I honestly can't say i dislike any of these genres, but I'm so disappointed that they don't have Physiological in the choices :(. Come on, Steins;Gate, Denpa teki na Kanojo, Deathnote?!?!?!?!?!?! We're is the love for this awesomeness. Of course they could be classified under suspense, horror, or mystery, but those aspects aren't what make these amazing :).

I read/watch almost anything that makes me laugh so comedy.

Someof the new comedy movies are bland and lack the same kind of creativity that I look for in some of my old favorites. A good example are Date Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie and all those like them. To me these are poor attempts at spoofs of existing movies and just seem like they were made by college kids who think they're funny. Monty Python and Mel Brooks films are good examples of spoofs because the humor requires some real thought and don't rely on straight up sex jokes or the use of dropping "F" bombs every couple sentences. Not all comedy films these days are this bad but these seem to be the ones that really drag down the entire genre and I am upset by this

Oh, the older I get the dumber the movies I like. Gotta love a good action flick to wind-down from a tough day.

I like Sci-Fi either for engaging sci-fi ideas, like your Philip K. Dick stories (Blade Runner, Minority Report) and I also like it for settings that transport me away from reality and really make a big deal out of set pieces.

When I'm in the mood for it though I'll wanna watch the best drama that's out there, so I usually stay tuned to movie reviews to find out when a good one comes out. I generally don't watch everything and I'm pretty picky about most movies, but if the masses are flocking toward something then I usually will want to check it out.

Also, don't knock a good kids movie, especially some of Pixar's best work. Just rewatched the incredibles and was thinking about how I enjoyed this much more than some crtically acclaimed films.

I like most of Horrors, Comedy and Romance. A good Psychological anime time to time is also good.

I chose other because I like Sci-Fi and Fantasy equally.

Couldn't really pick just one.... Went with drama for the sake of down of my favorite shows. Shows like r.o.d., .hack, the walking dead

As a Gundam fan, science fiction is my favorite followed closely by fantasy. I also like comedies, action and a good suspense thriller. On the other hand I can't stand blood so just about every horror movie is no good for me.

I like most of the slice-of-life series. So that's usually an infusion of comedy and romance [and a bit of drama].
Even though that is my favorite genre, that usually aren't my most liked [with a 10/10 rating] anime.

Those are usually fantasy/fiction with action. But because those genres can be just as bad as they can be good, those aren't my favourite genres.

I am not too picky/ have a favorite genre (mostly because I don't watch many movie/book for starter) but I do know that I cannot stand horror, either movie or game. Book for some reason I am okay with.

I chose "Other" because I like most of those genres.

In anime:
Drama, comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, action, and a hint of romance doesn't hurt.

In live-action:
All of the above, plus thriller. Minus the romance. I don't know why but when a romance between two people is live-action, it annoys me.

I enjoy everything, however there is some thing about a romance that just grabs you that special way to make you feel a lot of different emotions. Just me. ^_^
