I haven't been watching K-On, but for those of you who are, can someone shed some light on Mio's uncanny popularity? I believe there are some who genuinely like her personality and character design. On the other hand, there will be others who are simply jumping on the "Mio" bandwagon.
If I am not wrong, there is a sensei in the series right? Perhaps she deserves to be in the poll too? :D

Mio = Moe to about infinity. She's scared of barnacles, loud and scary noises, and screams inside haunted houses(though I myself, would prefer moaning for that part). Not to mention on their first concert, she stumbles over a stage cord, revealing her blue and white striped panties to the audience(and to the viewers watching the anime). She, among other things, is also the only girl among the four with a nice bust. Oh, she's also particularily scared and embarassed of singing on stage, she plays bass in the band as well.
If you watch the 6th episode, you'll see exactly why she's popular. Not to mention she's godly cute in the ED.
Yes, there is a "Sensei"(The Light Music Club advisor and school music teacher), though she's not exactly appealing compared to the others, she wears glasses, is tall and has long (red/brown) hair. She's also an emotional powerhouse, has one hell of a death scream and is a total airhead.
