I just can't share in the Hanako appeal. "Stammering, spineless doormat" is not a character trait I can find attractive. The inverse of this is precisely why Shizune is my favorite, even though her route isn't the most eventful, and even though her assertiveness and confidence do sometimes break into just being harsh at times.
Plus, I can't say no to glasses.
Rin is good too though. She's another good example of a girl who's unafraid to be herself, just in a much different way. I don't hate any of them, but confidence and competence are sexy.

after playing emi, hanako and lilly.. and on my way to shizune.. Lilly by far. But I wouldn't mind being able to go after Miki. She was decent :|

Lilly was my favorite because her arc had closure to it. Lilly also seem to be the least emotionally damaged character, and was kind of a mother type character to Hanako and Hisao. Plus she's just so damn refined and beautiful.

Hanako for me. I was able to get her route on my first try but uh.. after completing it I'm having a hard time getting the other routes.

Rin= Nubs
Shizune= Turbo, as in turbo bitch i thought she was one though a little less after her ark

Emi= Lt. Dan

This doesn't change the fact that i was pissed when i died.
Rin's route seemed to me like well... Rin is Rin... and I doubted whether she'll listen to me. Her character was the best and the H-scene in the middle along with the smoking made it seem like shit was going to hit the fan. Like If i didn't go after Lily or Emi, they would be fine without me. but like Hanako or Rin. They needed me more. but Hanako was just like too adorable man. I got her friend route first and I was like "ya know im ok with this." but went back and i guess its a better ending. Shizune's route at least had that twist in it but i digress.
