Who's your favorite girl from Katawa Shoujo?

After playing and completing all routes bar Rin's (working on that as we speak), I'd have to say that my favourite girl would definitely have to be Lilly. Like Emi, she isn't held back by her disability and is overall a very likable character. I also felt that Lilly's route was the most wholesome one, as it took me the longest to complete as of yet. As some have said, the end of her route had me on the verge of tears -- some of those music tracks are too damn sad! Yes, I'm looking at you, Concord!

As much as I'm embarrassed to admit it, Lilly's route even got me to crack out a blindfold and attempt to go about daily activities while wearing it. It's harder than it seems! (And possibly more painful..) However, I'm glad I did this in the privacy of my own home. The little exercise more than paid off, as it helped me appreciate her situation and qualities more.

While I'm here, I just want to say that, if you haven't gathered already, I think this VN is amazing. A masterfully-told tale, and a truly moving one at that. It steps around some pretty sensitive ground with the story that encompasses it, but deals with these issues maturely and professionally. Personally, I will treasure Katawa Shoujo, as it taught me a very valuable life lesson, and helped me to be less narrow-minded and shallow, which is no mean feat.

On one final note; Kudos to Four Leaf Studios, your hard work and determination over the years is very much appreciated!! ❤

Hanako is my favorite but it makes my kinda sad that she has more growth in Lilys route. I want her to go be happy so maybe I let her go and be with the pretty blonde (admitly not the worst grenade to jump on but still):(

This. Emi comes in at a close second (for the first time in her life), only barely losing to Lilly as my favourite route.

I vote Emi. I've finished all the routes (though I didn't go 100% as I'm a somewhat pessimistic person as is and don't need more depressing bad endings :/ ) and I while the stories of some of the girls are heart wrenching, Emi's relationship with Hisao just seemed the most natural to me.

Neither of them really had to put much effort into caring about the other; they just loved and were loved in return. No stupid fronts to put in front of other people or each other and no more baggage than you'd expect from a normal relationship.

Edit: Oh and I'm not a big fan ridiculously over-sized boobs on a girl. Anything more than a handful is too much to handle. :)
