'Cause I'm Popeye the Saaaay-lor Man *toot toot*!

I try to avoid anything that involves honey... I throw up almost immediately if I eat honey. =[
I enjoy spicy foods[And spicy condiments[[I.E. Tabasco]].], rice, fried rice[This is where the vegetables come in.], chicken, beef, instant noodles, fruits[Like Granny Smith apples, oranges, banan'rs, chocolate, chocolate milk, not too big on mutton though. NEVER BEEN A FAN. I rarely eat vegetables, 'cept for carrots. "I loves me" carrots, as they say.

My eating utensils range from big[Read: Normal] spoons to tea spoons[Eating a plate of rice with a tea spoon is quite the challenge.].

Side note: Can't eat pork. Against m' religion.

I'll eat pretty much anything whether it is good for me or not. I do have an affinity for spicy foods though, in particular. I need to be a bit more mindful of what I eat though. I'm out of shape, and obese to boot. Luckily I've been keeping myself in a moderation check so I haven't gained weight in a while, but I haven't been losing either. >.<

Speaking of food? Any of you, or do you know anyone, who has this habit of not allowing food to touch? My mother and sister are like that. Their mashed potatoes and corn can't touch on their plate or they won't eat it. I'm like WTF? It's all going to go down together anyway. I'm always mixing my food together.

Vegetarian diet for me.

Basically, I LOVE spicy food, but my family can't stand that... they refuse to let me do the cooking if they know it's gonna turn out too spicy.

Anything spicy is good for me. I don't like sweet things that much, so I'm light on desserts and candies. My mother is a vegetarian so I had a vegetarian meal almost everyday in my life when I lived with my family, with the occasional meat now and then for me and my father.

I'm trying to lose some weight right now (I've been lazy lateley, gained 10lbs, was pissed) so I eat only plain cheerios without milk and drink only water.

Well I usually get someone I'm with to chew up my meal first, then spit it into a glass, then I just drink it from the glass. Feels good man.

I eat a lot of meat and starch. We keep 3 starches in the house on a constant basis: Rice (usually Short Grain), Pasta (usually String Pastas, I profer Linguine and Fettuccine) and Hominy Grits (my mom was raised by Southern parents, so she and I love it). The meat we usually have is Pork, Chicken or Lamb. We usually get the tougher cuts that require a bit of cooking time (like Shoulder Chops). For the Chicken, we usually get the thighs. We keep a lot of spices on hand (Cumin, Cinnamon, Clove, Allspice, Coriander, Paprika, Garam Masala, Chinese 5 Spice, Cardamon, Dried Thyme, Dried Rosmary, Dried Oregano, Mustard Powder, Turmeric, etc) because my mom likes to cook with a Southern/Indian flare, and we burn through Bullion Cubes because I love to braise meats. We usually keep around a couple of cans of Crushed Tomatoes (I ain't half Italian for nothin') and we keep around quite a few Asian sauces/condiments (Soy Sauce, Fish Sauce, Miso, Shrimp Paste, Oyster Sauce, Shaoxing Wine, Mirin, Hoisin Sauce, Sriracha, Sambal, Black Bean Sauce, etc...) because I like do do Asian Fusion every so often. We ALWAYS have Garlic, Onions, and Ginger in the house (if we don't, it's an immediate problem) and we often have Plantains, Bell Peppers, Mushrooms, and Scallions in the house. And for snacking, we often have Flatbread and Hummus. And for when I do fusion, I pick up specificaly Asian Noodles (usually Udon, Chinese Egg Noodles, or Broad Rice Sticks, like you see in Pho or Pad Thai). Oh, and the ordinary stuff like Ketchup (Heinz ONLY) Mustard (Spicy Brown or Dijon) Mayonnaise (nothing special here) and Hot Sauce (Red Devil Sauce, please)

Granted I may not be the healthiest eater in the world, but my condolance is that we cook our on food most of the time, and don't eat out much. And we rarely use pre-prepared meals (except things like pre-pealed Shrimp or Garlic, that shit is a lifesaver, or the Hummus) so we don't eat a lot of processed food. I may be 181 lbs, but I'm also 6'2" so that isn't a problem.

And I belive that the killing of animals for the purpose of eating them is perfectly okay. The animal is not going to waste, so there is no problem with me. We have the enzymes in our body to digest protein. We need protein TO LIVE. We have canine teeth, to cut through meat. We are OMNIVORES. We are meant to eat everything, including meat. I only have a problem with the killing of animals when it is done out of anger or for sport. Like hunters who don't eat the animal and just use the fur or worse, use the animal as a trophy!? Or when people purpously hunt down sharks or some other animal that's a precived danger to man just to kill it!? That really pisses me right the fuck off. (On the fur thing, if an Animal was killed for BOTH it's meat and it's fur, like in native cultures, that doesn't anger me at all. In fact, that's really letting nothing go to waste).

I'm lucky and have a fast metabolism, so I could eat nothing but McDonalds for a week and not gain a pound. It's not all good; I'm probably going to have a heart attack by the time I turn twenty.

Anyway, I've done on and off vegetarian, and I'm now at a point where I'll eat meat, but I try not to eat too much red meat, and very little pork. Pork makes me puke everywhere and red meat makes me feel all gross. Chicken and fish ftw. My switching to vegetarian was never an issue about the animals, I simply did it because, as stated above, my body doesn't really like meat that isn't chicken or fish.

HAH my sister went vegetarian for a while. I asked if she did it because she felt bad for the animals, and she nodded. "Even though they're bred and specifically raised to be eaten?"

She replies, "Well GOD DIDN'T MEAN FOR THEM TO BE EATEN"

^and that is why I hate PETA, most vegetarians and teenage girls.

She went vegetarian "for a while"? Shows me she didn't take it seriously, IMO. I agree with you that "well god didn't x" is such a bullshit argument on every level possible, but IMO, the "industrial production" of meats is what's really sad about it - if you like, got your deer straight out of the forest, that's a whole different thing. Well I didn't want to start an argument, so I'll stop here; maybe that's something for SD? Too bad the search function doesn't work right now -_-

I started eating only fish and veggies 2 months ago but I also eat meat when those 2 aren't available. Pretty much a balance diet. :D

waar, isnt that unhealthy, what if your enemy has an infectious disease... You might need to see the doctor, maybe youve caught something already! I suggest you cook them first before consumption too.
